Advantages The advantages are: - in this relationship, you will receive support, guidance, career counseling in AIESEC or personal life; - you can stay connected with the business enviroment of your mentor; - you can receive feedback, advice or ideas on both your AIESEC and non-AIESEC experience from your mentor; - you will develop a better understanding of the organization.

Mentoring Program. What is it about? Mentoring is a relationship of personal development in which a person with experience and knowledge (mentor) helps guide and support a person curious and eager to learn (mentee) . Mentoring relationship is based on trust, admiration and authenticity and the essential elements of this relationship are learning, sharing experiences and seeking opportunities.

Each Mentor’s Role - communicate openly; - assist in setting action steps and encouraging follow up; - set clear boundaries between personal and professional information and what you are confortable to share ; - give constant feedback to the mentee; - share personal experiences and stories to help solving similar issues; - listen, empathize and guide mentee toward productive solutions.

New Pairs After the applications are closed, the process of finding the suitable mentors for all mentees will start. This can take up to 2-3 weeks. Once the pairs are created, meetings should start.

Technical details The program covers three months, starting from March, during which the mentee will be the person who will come with questions and curiosities, having a proactive, open and curious attitude. Every Mentee’s Responsibilities
Every Mentee’s Responsibilities are: - responsible of his development throughout the program; - to be committed to the entire duration of the project; - to communicate openly (open minded); - to ask for and implement feedback ; - to set the goals of the relationship together with his mentor; - to respect the confidentiality of the relationship; - to be a willing participant in the program;

Flow and Follow-up Step 1 : Filling in the application form. Step 2 : Matching - the organizing team will start the matching process between members and Alumni. Step 3 : Meetings - After the organizing team matches the Mentors and the Mentees, they will set up a meeting within the first 2 weeks. - afterwards, the pairs agree on the frequency and purpose of the meetings based on their needs and schedules; - there should be at least two meetings per months. Step 4 : Follow-up - the Talent Management responsible will follow up the frequency of the meetings and the main objectives to follow up.
8.
End of the Relationship Each mentoring relationship can be continued, as long as both parts feel it is valuable and supports their development.
