AIESEC in Ireland MCP 2015/2016 Application Booklet

Words from the MCP Dear applicant, Some experiences sound amazing. Some experiences turn out not be at all what they sound like. Sometimes in a disappointing way - but sometimes, in a most eye-opening, challenging and utterly beautiful one. Congratulations on opening this application booklet – read on and you might just get yourself in on one of the journeys of your lifetime. Four months ago I started mine as the president of AIESEC in Ireland and let me ensure you it has been quite a ride. I won to be MCP but what I got was so much more. I got the opportunity to be the entrepreneur who builds up a social impact business that can give Irish youth back the drive to shake up their country and change it for the better. I got the honour to head a team of innovative, relentless young leaders who are united in their unconditional belief in our success. I had the humbling experience of hitting my limits as a leader, person and friend – and nearly exhausting myself overcoming them. Forget all you have been told, being MCP is the best experience you could be offered in AIESEC – if you are ready for it. Ask yourself: Is this what you want with all your willpower? Are you ready to take full responsibility for helping Ireland evolve? Are you the leader AIESEC in Ireland needs right now? If the answer to these questions is yes then this is your time: Good luck with the process. Be better than you have ever been before. Sincerely yours,
