Where the theater of D. Maria is placed at, Rossio is a leaving history book, ready to be relived by you! In the middle of the square you can find the statue of D. Pedro IV and 4 feminine shapes which represent Justice , Wisdom , Strength and Temperance. You can find here McDonald's and Startbucks.
5 Castle of São Jorge

Open to the public 7 days a week, the Castle of São Jorge is a place where you can enjoy the patrimony, get to know some of the history of Lisbon at the Museum, take a break at Café Castle, participate in guided tours or, you can simply let yourself be swept away by the music, theater and dance that the monument has everyday!

Terreiro do Paço
It is one of the biggest squares in Europe and it is faced to the river. This is a beautiful place to take a walk and get surprised by the most random activities that are done here. This was the place from which our navigates departed to discover the South of Africa, the South of America and the maritime way to India.
This is probably one of the most famous streets. It is beautiful to see really amazing artists performing on the streets, singers, dancers, human sculptures, etc. This people are just looking for your appreciation on their work! There are also clothing stores like Mango, Bershka, Intimissimi, a museum of design and fashion, restaurants, coffees, souvenir shops, etc.
Alfama and Mouraria It is two of the most typical neighborhoods in Lisbon and both have spectacular views over the city! So much, that it will be worthy to go up the hilly streets.

Parks Parque Eduardo VII In and around the park there are sculptures, monuments, gardens, water features, old architecture, modern architecture, etc. Take the time to walk through the park looking down into the town, on a sunny day the park is beautiful and is worth the time out of your day.

Calouste Gulbenkian It’s a beatiful refuge with a lake, landscaped terraces, rails between the trees and na amphitheatre where there are concerts and shows in the warmest nights. There is also a museum of the fundation where are expostions of both ancient and modern art.

It’s one of the most pleasent green spaces in the capital, where you can enjoy of nice moments through lakes, waterfalls, statues and houndreds of species of plants coming from the whole world.

4 5 Jardim do Príncipe Real
This romantic garden is the center of a square surrounded by elegant buildings. It's an urban refuge with a gigantic parasol-like cedar tree under which old ladies, families, or young couples sit for a while, as old men play cards and children run around a small playground. There is also a café with outdoor seating, and two kiosks serving refreshments.
4 Jardim da Estrela
It’s a romantic garden inpired in the british style. It’s a wonderful place to relax and to be in contact with nature. This garden has a bandstand that is the oldest in Lisbon. Next to it there is Basílica da Estrela
Colombo Shopping The perfect place to shop anytime on the day, with well-known shops and also lots of restaurants, a multiplex cinema and a bowling center.

Sport Lisboa e Benfica Stadium Sport Lisboa e Benfica stadium is more than just a stadium. It also as a health club and a restaurante with panoramic view. Sometimes, there also are music concerts.
Lisbon Zoo If you want to be in touch with nature and all kinds of animals, this is the perfect place for you! Curiosity: on the eating area, if you go to McDonald’s, you will eat with crocodiles by your side. Portuguese are absolutly crazy about football, and the main teams are Benfica, Sporting and Porto. The first two are from Lisbon, and you should definitly go to their stadiums and watch a game.

Parque das Nações (Nations Park) Located at the end of the Tagus river there is this modern neighbourhood so many times called “the new Lisbon’s downtown”. Here you can walk and enjoy the amazing gardens by the river as well as an amazing sunset. The host of the famous “Expo” in 1998 counts not only with its natural beauty of our lovely seashore but also with numerous attractions like the Oceanarium, the Science Pavilion and some of the greatest modern pieces of architecture.
And, at last but definitely not least, don’t forget about its classy nocturnal life with some great bars and nightclubs to enjoy.

The Tower of Belém was classified by UNESCO as "Cultural Patrimony of All Humanity". In the past it was used as strategic defense place, as a prison and as a customhouse in the Era of Discovery.
Padrão dos descobrimentos
This monument celebrates the Age of Discovery. This was the place were the first boats heading to Africa used to depart from. In the monument you can see the main characters of this part of the world’s history. Vasco da Gama, who discovered the sea route to India, Pedro Alvares Cabral, who discovered Brazil, Luis Vaz de Camões, one of the most known writers, among others. It is a beautiful place to see the sunset, to run, or just appreciate the beauty.
These are the one of the most famous gastronomic treasures of Portugal. Although these pastries are sold everywhere, this is the most famous store selling them. Exists for almost 180 years and they sell around 20,000 pastries every day. This is for without doubt a mandatory stop for every sweets lover!
Mosteiro dos jerónimos It is one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal. The architectural style of this beautiful and enormous monument was created in Portugal and it is called Manuelino Style, due to the king’s name. Inside you can find the grave of Vasco da Gama, the first men to get to India by sea.

Cascais is a little city at the very end of Lisbon Seashore where the ancient and the modern live together in perfect harmony. In this bay there is beauty enough for all tastes. You may find our latest kings’ palaces from the 19th Century, lots of Navy historical places or just enjoy a relaxed day in the beach, perhaps having some surf classes or have a drink by the sea.
Sintra

Quinta da Regaleira The property includes a palace and it’s very famous by it’s beautiful gardens and lakes and also by its mysteries. Many legends of cults and magic rituals also take place here.
Known as The Magic Village Sintra is a little town where you can breathe history and magic all over the place.
Sintra is also known by its traditional candies! If you pass by don’t forget to go to Piriquita, a famous coffee shop where you can taste Queijadas (left) and Travesseiros (right)!
Castelo dos Mouros The Muslin Castle was built during the 8th and 9th Centuries during the Muslin occupation of Iberia. Located in the top of the hills, the view extends to the Atlantic sea. That’s why during many centuries it was one of the most important defense and watching points of Lisbon
Palácio da Pena This gorgeous and huge palace is located on the top of the hills of Sintra’s natural park. There you can enjoy its architecture on the outside and inside, the marvelous rooms from the greatest kings of Portugal as well as many masterpieces of Portuguese art and its marvelous gardens surrounding it.
Almada
There you have dozens of kilometres og beautiful beaches (S. Jo茫o da Caparica, Costa da Caparica, Fonte da Telha...), ideal to catch some sun, to surf or to stay in the bars at night.
By car, by bus, by train or by boat, you can travel to the other side of the Tagus river and discover Almada.
There is the famous Cristo Rei, from where you have the most amazing Lisbon view.
If you feel like going for a walk in the nature, there is an enormous park (Parque da Paz) where you can walk, run or just relax.
You can also visit Almada Castle or one of the Miradouros.
There also is a shopping centre (Almada F贸rum), with shops, restaurants and a cinema, ideal for a late night program.

Super Bock Super Rock 16-18 July, Parque das Nações The Super Bock Super Rock 20 years of history, 20 years of nonconformity. The Super Bock Super Rock returns to reinvent itself and returns to Lisbon.
“Santos Populares” It fills animation into the most typical corners of the city and bring to the street thousands of people. The nights are animated by street parties in the neighborhoods of Lisbon, with music and dancing to the rhythm of popular songs.
