Message from the Local Committee President Hello! Like you, I was once a student who just entered university, and was unsure of my next path. I am very sure that the main question that could possibly be running through your mind is “What is AIESEC?” or even “Why should I join AIESEC?” I could reiterate the same reason again that AIESEC is a global network, present in 126 countries and territories (its true though) and mention the vast network that it has, but I would like to bring you a little personal story. I too, was unsure what AIESEC does, and took a leap of faith into the unknown; with the mindset that if all fails, I could just leave and continue my normal university life. That is, until I experienced my own AIESEC journey. When I went on an exchange to Laos in education under AIESEC in January 2016, I experienced first-hand how AIESEC shaped me. I have seen through my own eyes, how a single youth can impact the people around him/her. Imagine the possibilities, if we increase hundredfold, or thousandfold? That, I believe, is the power of AIESEC. Would you be a part of this movement? I look forward to see you and create your own journey!
Arthur Yeow
Local Committee President
