Hello! It is my pleasure to welcome you to Thailand Youth to Business Forum! Thailand Youth to Business forum has been the platform where youth and corporate sector are connected. Throughout this connection we will create the learning platform for youth in Thailand about globalization in which helps them gain global mindset and see the relevant skills needed nowadays. At the same moment youth will get to learn more from the best case practices from all these amazing organizations about how they do business social responsibility as part to help create sustainability in their surroundings. This year we are planning to make Youth to business become another phenomenon that will inspired Thai youth to step forward and take action as citizen of this globe.

Introduction to AIESEC AIESEC, the world’s largest youth-run organization, is an international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential for them to have a positive impact in society. AIESEC in Thailand has been more than 44 years continuously developing youth in Thailand to become future leaders who are socially responsible. Founded by Professor Dr. Puey Ungpakorn in 1966 as cooperation between AIESEC in Japan, AIESEC in Thailand was officially welcomed into the AIESEC network in 1968. In January 16th, 2003, AIESEC in Thailand officially registered as a Non-Profit Organization with the National Culture Mission Bureau.

Thailand Youth to Business Youth to Business is an initiative powered by AIESEC and aims to connect young leaders and businesses around relevant topics to generate new, actionable ideas and thoughts about the future .We believed that this event created a learning platform for youth in Thailand about the relevant skills for nowadays and developed the global mindset which highly regarded by businesses. Also, the delegates learned about how these organizations did business social responsibility as part of their commitment to be responsible to their surroundings.

Review of Thailand Youth to Business 2012

In the previous Thailand Youth to Business in May 24th, 2012 at Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University, we succesfully gave understanding the unique needs of businesses and young people as we would move towards ASEAN, and how this would affect young people. Also, this event developed an innteractive workshops conducted by Google, TMB, Coverage, ChangeFusion, DC Consultants, HULT International Business School for these topics: Youth Leadership Development; Corporate Social Responsibility; and Entrepreneurship to over 200 delegates from 6 universities.

Sustainability As society continues to grow at breakneck pace, companies are driven to adapt so quickly that not everybody can keep up. Companies need to address the social, environmental and economic impacts of their operations. The topic is about what youth are aware of and thoughts on how they can support a sustainable future together with the corporate sector.

Globalization The world is increasingly inter-connected, but are we really a global village? Companies need to quickly understand and embrace diverse markets and cultures in order to establish themselves as world leaders. The topic is about how youth is dealing with the quest for globalmindedness and be able to contribute to the corporate sector for it to truly have the world as its oyster.

Innovation Innovation plays an important role in the world we are living in today. New ideas can be translated into new experiences and solutions. The topic is about how youth can bring innovation and generate ideas that can connect businesses to the future needs of society and more specifically the needs that generation Y and Z have.

Dress Code All delegates are required to wear proper professional/office suits. For male delegates, you are all required to wear shirt with long pants or trousers.

For female delegates, you are required to wear long pants or skirts or dress which can cover your knees
