reserved lounges
ABM Architects | Executed 2022 | V-ray1Conceptualised in 2021 and executed in 2022, the reserved lounge is an independent, elevated waiting space in a certain airport. The design of the entire airport follows the theme of biophilia and thus the color palette and materials used are light, verdant and sustainable. The lounges are enclosed, sans any natural light; thus an attempt is made to create the feeling of outdoors in an indoor space.
I conceptualised, and set the visual design along with the colour and material palette. I worked with the 3D artist to enhance the design and bring it to a polished level.

airport lounges
ABM Architects | Designed 2021 | V-rayAs part of an ongoing project at an airport, the ‘lounges’ are connected yet experientially independent spaces that offer a variety of services to the traveller. While one is a pastel, bright, whimsical space for tea, another is a
warm, inviting sports bar that appeals to those looking to catch a quick view of the match before jet-setting.
I worked with the team, as a junior to help set the colour and material palette, which was then communicated to the 3D artist who rendered it.
box house
The site in Nashik was surrounded by lush flora, and overlooked the dam and the lake. To provide an unobstructed view, the simple box house is elevated above the ground. High visual porosity is maintained on its envelope, to connect the outdoors to the indoors and allow the owners to be at one with nature.
Almost all walls are replaced with a custom triple layer window system. The sliding glass door is succeeded by pivotable shutters which opens into sitout balconies.
I conceptualised and designed the box house in tandem with the principal architect, based on the client’s feedback. Two variants were made, one with an earth mound, on top of which the house would rest, and one on smartly located structural stilts.
I designed the house on Rhinoceros 3D and SketchUp; and rendered it on Lumion.
villa in lonavala
SNK | Designed 2020 LumionThe idea was to create a home away from home, for the client. The materials are earthy and light; natural wood, stone tiling and mangalore tiles are used to enunciate the concept of a natural oasis.
While the material palette is deliberately traditional and comforting, the design is asymmetric, modern and volumetric.
I joined this project at the rendering stage and helped match the principal architect’s vision to visuals on Lumion
Freelance | Rendered 2019 | Lumion
For their final architecture graduate project, the client wanted to create renders that best represented the project’s concept of light, shade and material.
I worked closely with the client to find the best material and visual language for their design presentation, by rendering on Lumion.

cruise terminal
This was a conceptual design for a cruise terminal in Goa. The structure is light, with a membrane roof, and ample public space, along with a landscaped outdoor waiting area
This was an exciting project to work on, as I was given free reign to research, conceptualise, design, render and create the presentation to be sent to the client. This was also my first realworld project after academically oriented undergraduate work,
and the mentorship received during this internship helped me improve my skills greatly. The design was 3D modelled on Rhinoceros 3D and rendered on Lumion. The presentation also included a walk-through generated on Lumion.
Having visuals for interior design can be extremely efficient in communicating the design of the space, especially for commercial design which has multiple stakeholders and safety requirements. Using a quick render software
such as Lumion further helps iterate the design rapidly to create multiple options that fit with brand identity.
I worked with the team to set and rapid-render designs on Lumion, over the course of multiple weeks, to showcase the best iterations.

mall installation
Conceptualised and designed for the winter 2018 version of the main installation at one of the largest malls in Mumbai, this installation design includes a golden "roller coaster" road for a model Santa Claus and his sleigh, along with multiple zones of interaction including crafting houses and play spaces for young children. The entire design rests on a bumpy mass of "snow" to mimic the arctic landscape.
I designed and rendered the concept visual on Rhinoceros 3D, and while this project didn't take off, it was an excellent foray into 3D modelling and rendering.
