What is AIESEC? AIESEC is the world’s largest student-run organization, which runs a global internship program. Students in Canada work with local organizations to open internship positions to bring in international interns from abroad, and recruit students here to obtain global work experience in 110 countries in AIESEC. By running this social enterprise, students develop real-world experience leading teams, running an organization, selling to organizations, and driving results in an entrepreneurial framework. AIESECers are known for proactivity, their desire to impact large-scale change in the world, and their global mindset. This is why so many AIESECers go on to be leaders in Canada and worldwide. 2
