KENYA The Education Project

"The intern will be teaching in different school in the slums of Nairobi, assisting the staff and directors of the schools in management, fundraising and other activities that may arise. Also the intern will be assisting the staff to create sustainable projects for their projects e.g feeding programmes, libraries and so onHis or her role includes mentorship and guidance to the children and creating fun and creative ways of teaching as well as coming up with extra curricular activities such as sports or art.The intern will be responsible for one of the following jobs in the school he or her is assigned ( team leader, finance intern, communications intern and health intern) "

Interns will work in community Centres; they will be conducting workshops in English during which they will talk and present history, culture and customs about their country. They should also prepare symbols of their country through which they present their cultures and make students understand them more. Classes should be interesting and interactive. They will have to prepare outlines of indoor and outdoor activities.

"The intern will be responsible of assisting school teachers with their English lessons and encouraging children to speak English on an interactive way.The goal of the project is to develop the English language skills of the students.The intern will be working with children 6 to 11 years old.The intern can choose to work with the Marketing Department or the Sports and Culture Department "

Activities Coordinator - Entertaining and involving groups of teenagers aged 11 to 16 in recreational and contructive activities (in the water or on the beach) such as sports competitions, games, quizes etc.

Shelter is a home for children from 3 to 20 years of age who have been abused, neglected, at-risk or abandoned by their families, parents or guardians.Interns will be given an English program that they are required to teach and guide our children. They will be assigned a few children where they will teach them basic English using the Learning A-Z program syllabus. They can read up on child learning or activities to do to reinforce learning before coming.

"The exchange participant will conduct fun, engaging activities to the deliver the courses incorporated on basic English, computer skills, reading and learning skills, and moral habits to targeted children.The interns would be responsible for stressing upon various aspects such as : 1. Hygiene 2. Cultural Sensitivity 3. Art and Dance 4. Small activities to earn a basic livelihood .Project Vision: “Helping the underprivileged children and imparting skills to them which will enable them to excel in life and to motivate them to confront the situation through collective action thereby giving the child an opportunity to realize his full potential."

"The exchange participant will conduct fun, engaging activities to the deliver the courses incorporated on basic English, computer skills, reading and learning skills, and moral habits to targeted children.The intern will be responsible to gather information on child labour with respect to the current situation of the disease in the global network and developing cross references from the same.Also to plan and volunteer at the event organized for the Child welfare and Social welfare. And spread awareness regarding child's basic right through organized events and online social media portal.."

Project Roshni : Genesis [ HIV Awareness]

The aim of the project is to assist doctors in preforming medical check ups on the kids. Provide sanitation tips to the kids.For example; How to properly wash hands to prevent diseases and to check on the nutrition of the kids and to check whether food consumed is nutritious.

"The exchange participant will be trained and briefed about the issue of HIV AIDS in India by various NGOs.He/she will also get to interact with HIV patients and communities. There will also be ďŹ eld trips in various localities organised by the NGOs. The intern also is expected to document these activitiesThe intern is expected to conduct workshops & sessions on AIDS awareness in various institutes and localities. Also the intern is expected to plan creative and innovate activities to instill the concept of HIV AIDS in the mind of children and the youth"

Summer Camp in Fundacja Piotra Reissa

The Intern will be accompanying patients in the two hospital units of Trieste. Intern will be responsible to transfer the patients to the hospital involving units of emergency and ordinary hospitalization and outpatient basis.

The goal of the organisation is to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyle, search for and support young talented sportsmen-to-be. The foundation organises many projects to support its vision. Fundacja Piotra Reissa wishes to play bigger and bigger role in spreading sports awareness in the country.

Project Micro Finance: Samooha

AFRICA HEALTH COMMUNITY PROGRAMME (AHCP) "The key group requiring attention are the hundreds of millions of Youths, Children and Women living in impoverished and low resource communities around Kenya. Africa Health and Community Program (AHCP) focuses on providing opportunities for these groups through need driven interventions especially in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Youth and Women Empowerment, Children Education, Health and Sanitation and Computer literacy."

The Exchange Participant will engage in research about the financial system in India and specifically in Karnataka with professors from the Department of Commerce, AIESEC in Manipal University, and formulate a plan to implement a microfinance model in nearby villages with strategies for the same. With the help of the NGO and bank,the EP will execute workshops in the villages.They will implement the microfinance model that they formulated. They will also learn about their economical constraints."

Media Project TURKEY Myself My World

Myself My World is a Global Community Development Programme that is aims to improve English level and soft skills of High School Students in summer camps. All exchange participants needs to shoot short movie with their own team. Short movies could be about self-awareness, world issues and etc.

Accomomodation Accommodation is provided during the whole program.
