Information for resolution and color depth is given. This page should draw very fast --- (50k). We need to have plug-ins like Netscape, Internet Explorer, Shockwave, RealPlayer 5.0, QTVRĂş, acrobat PDF, Liquid Audio, and Beatnik. Here we will offer an entry for Private and Public users. Private users can access only documents that they have password privileges to on a need to know basis. We can image map the fully rendered QTVR Panorama image of our "Main office interface" so that you can get to any room in the Public environment from the very first page if your registered.
Opening Scene #1 --- Registered Users @ the Public GHK Public Digital Library The Public entry requires a registration for a library card. This is where all of The Free stuff is. When you enter this area you have entered a 3D representation of an Artificial, Inc. created Public Library where you can find Free Chat, Hardware, Software, Games, Sports, Boats and new info. When you enter the opening scene you will have a two frame layout that consists of a single row of buttons and the content area. In the opening scene the Main Public Library Room is round. The Public Receptionist sets at a desk to the right of the screen.The Public Receptionist is programmed to greet the user when coming into the library. down and drag the book to the Crystal to open the Document and view the information". This should have an "on off" button, it could be annoying. While we're at it lets make background sound optional with volume controls and a couple of choices. To the left of the screen is a Crystal that glows. Behind them is the Library shelves of information. The active books on the shelves are Drag and Drop Interactivity Designed with Shockwave. The 3D active books that are on the shelves are programmed to be rollover sensitive. They are movable across the screen and interact with the Crystal to open documents. They should obviously represent the subject matter either (before and during) or (during) the rollover state with labels and cursor change. The button bar will have links to ---Private Library Combot, Artificial.com, BigKahuna.net, Cyberforms.com, TalkStory.com, Home Theater.com, and AVStreams.com. When you use the Combot Button it opens a floating ComBotĂş that navigates you threw the Library. What a concept, the screen is fixed with buttons on the bottom to navigate the web sites. The combot is designed to navigate the Library and is able to be moved around and put away like a remote control for a TV Box!

When you click on an active book you drag it across the screen to the glowing crystal and that opens the World Wide Info we have to share.

RECEPTION AREA Enter the GHK Digital Library, and meet your librarian. She looks like Debbie. Animated and speaking, the librarian greets visitors, explains options for visiting. MAIN LIBRARY Large main room has shelves lined with books, each representing a volume of interest to the "Big Kahuna" (e.g. yachting, travel, Hawaii, diagnostic tools, entrepreneur profiles, etc.). User is told via streaming audio that book may be selected, carried via "click-and-drag" to crystal statue representation of a woman. Once delivered to statuette, book opens and links user to area of interest. A few large picture windows offer a spectacular view of Gordon's 175foot dock and his fleet of water craft. Oil Paintings on the wall of two adorable Boston terriers, "Ashley" and "Bos." CONFERENCE ROOM Enter by password, at times arranged by reservation. In large room is oval conference table, chairs for seating up to twelve persons, large white board, and monitor for viewing video, presentations, etc. Seats may feature designated Cyberforms, representing users. PRIVATE CHAT ROOM Entered via secret panel, this room is open to members only. Inside is traditional smoking room, appointed with blazing fireplace, QueenAnne styled wing-back armchairs, heavy divan resting on lush, oriental tapestries. Small bells located on tables summon animated butler, who serves Cuban cigars and aged liqueurs. GENEALOGY ROOM Paneled room is appointed with marble busts of Gordon, Crystal, and other family members and friends. Hung on the walls are paintings depicting famous characters throughout history - in each, the face has been replaced by Gordon’s or Crystal’s (e.g., famous portrait of King Henry VIII has Gordon’s face, Gordon as Viking plunders the Norman coast, etc.)! Here, visitors can access genealogy software, and conduct searches for family members. As each piece of their family tree is assembled, users can build actual tree in the room with family members represented by leaves on realistic-looking ficus tree. Finished tree may be viewed by any visitor. MUSIC ROOM Here is state-of-the-art digital sound system and complete CD library, with special emphasis on Hawaiian music (e.g. theme from "Hawaii Five-0", selected works of Don Ho). Users can listen to any selection through audio streaming, even making a series of selections using the digital jukebox. There is a functional grand piano in the room as well, ideal for banging out anything from "Chopsticks" to Chopin. Featured is a fully-functional hologram of Crystal, who can be programmed to sing any one of dozens of favorites such as "Moon River" or "I Got You, Babe." HOME THEATER Enter this small private theater set up and learn how you can have one of your own. Photos, write-ups and ordering info.Make your selection (movie, coming attractions, video of last month & family reunion, etc.) and click a button; the lights dim, curtains part, and the show begins.
