Allweiss Re: 2003 APBA Offshore World Championships in Key West Dear Mr. Wheeler: Regrettably, we have been unable to resolve our most unfortunate situation with Lee Mills. Accordingly, we have made arrangements to move our APBA/UIM sanctioned World Championships event to another location for this year. We scheduled our event for November 10-16 so that it would not fall on the same dates as Lee’s event, however. Everyone at APBA Offshore is deeply disappointed in this turn of events and we hope you and the rest of your wonderful community will understand that this was the last thing we wanted for everyone. I assume that the lodging industry will cooperate with any of our teams who must cancel their reservations because of the venue change. Please let me know if this will be a problem. Certainly do not hesitate to call us if there is anything we can do for the Florida Keys as we remain very interested in maintaining our presence there and would love to explore the possibility of conducting future events.
