Decay Foundation

The existing Brougham Castle Ruins set as a base for the project where it will be adaptive reused to maintain and add more spatial qualities and programs into it. Most of the ruins are the tower, internal staircase, partial walls and many else that covered with moss and dirt. The brickwall finish may stores high level of decay throughout the time.

Lighting ( Steel Mesh)

Mesh metal were be used as a diffuser to soften and distribute the light emitted by lighting fixtures. By positioning mesh metal panels in front of light sources, its generate a soothing, distributed illumination that reduces sharp shadows and creates a more tranquil ambiance.

Intervention (Circulation)

Accessible entry and mobility between different levels of the sacred space, such as entrances, chapels, or raised platforms, are provided via ramps or lifts. To assist wheelchair users and others with mobility issues, ramps should have adequate slopes and handrails.
