Yearbook Information Pack Parents and Carers
What is the Yearbook? The AIME Yearbook Portal is an online application that connects Year 12 AIME students with education and employment opportunities being offered by AIME’s university and corporate partners.
How Does It Work?
Timeline June 2014 - AIME will open up the Yearbook Portal for viewing to the AIME University site that the Mentee attends AIME sessions at. AIME staff will work with the university staff to find opportunities for the AIME Mentees to study at their university. July 2014 - We will open up the Yearbook Portal for viewing to all AIME university sites. August 2014 - We will open up the Yearbook Portal to our Corporate partners to provide AIME Mentees with employment opportunities.
Mentee Profile In AIME sessions Mentees will work to create their Passport Profile. They’ll also record a short video message for the AIME partners to introduce themselves. Their profile will then be published live to the AIME Yearbook Portal.
Editing a Profile Any time that a Mentee wants to update their profile they can log onto the Yearbook portal and make changes. These will then be published live to the portal. AIME Staff Member will provide Mentees with their log-in details.
Communication In the Yearbook AIME Partner contacts the Mentee about an opportunity through the Yearbook. Mentee receives an email indicating they have been contacted. Mentee logs into the Yearbook and reviews the opportunity. Mentee can accept or decline the offer. If a mentee declines, the partner will not be able to communicate with them about this opportunity. If they accept, this will open up a messenger conversation with the partner.
AIME Support The AIME team is here to support our Mentees at all times. If Mentees have any questions about the AIME Yearbook they can contact their AIME Program Manager or Coordinator. The AIME Program Manager or Coordinator is available to help Mentees with university applications, interview preparation or anything else that will assist them in taking up an offer from an AIME Partner.
