Easy Flourless Brownies

Makes 16

4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped ½ cup honey ¹⁄3 cup creamy roasted almond butter (unsweetened) 1 medium ripe avocado, pitted 2 large eggs, room temperature 1 Tbs. coconut sugar ½ to 1 Tbs. beet powder 1 tsp. baking soda ½ tsp. sea salt

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. 2. In small pot over very low heat, combine chocolate, honey, and almond butter.

Stir constantly until melted and smooth.

Transfer to food processor fitted with steel blade.

3. Scoop avocado flesh into food processor, then add remaining ingredients. Process until creamy and very smooth, about 1 minute. 4. Transfer batter to prepared baking dish, and spread out evenly. Bake 25–30 minutes, until inserted toothpick comes out mostly clean, with a few moist crumbs attached.

5. Cool completely, then refrigerate 2 hours before cutting into 16 squares. Store brownies in refrigerator or freezer in airtight container.
