18 buildings, 3 Architects, and dozens of consultants, delivering a constant yet profitable project for new Camp Pendleton project is certainly challenging. Exemplary implementation, collaboration, communication are the key to success. Standards Implementation All three firms have Revit experience, but it is our first time we handle a project at this complexity. To ensure constant drawing quality, the design team get together to execute BIM implementation plan that I drafted. We standardized items in range from wall type to file naming, north arrow symbol to rendering materials. We also locate our buildings in the real-world co-ordinates, so models from different disciplines would come together in their respected relationship. Collaboration Since our design team is located across different parts of country, an effective work-sharing system is essential to increase productivity. We picked a cloud-based file sharing company based on my recommendation, project models will be located in one location, so all parties will be able to access it all at once. Communication Comparing models using clash detection program, we could pin point element conflicts. BIM co-ordination meeting was held every other week to sort out by each discipline. I would partnered with a senior architect to moderate the meeting. We are able to reduce clashes by 90% on the first three meetings. We also held the team accountability. Given all the constringes that we have, the project is expected a 2.8 multiplier and to receive LEED Gold.

ensity in the city has become a problem to human civilization. Wealth and spaces are not distributed and alloted equally among every citizen; and qualify of life is scarified for business productivity. This project strives to accentuate what is most lacking in the current condition by implementing a new system of providing personalizable and pleasurable space within the pre-estimated perimeter.

in Between Urban and Natural Boat House, Berkeley UC Berkeley (4th Year)
B
oat house in lagoon of Berkeley attempts to act as an interface between urban and natural life. As a metaphor, an athlete inserts their oar in the water, the blade of their oars sweeps the water towards the stern, providing forward thrust. Water displaces quickly over the blade, creates a temporary void at the back of the oar, A as shown in oar studies above. This beautiful interaction inspires me to recreate this condition in relationship of human and natural.
