Waratah X Wattle Mufti Day
Not even the amber rain and thunderstorms could drown out the traditional House Spirit of AISHK this term! In May, Waratah and Wattle houses jointly hosted a fantastic Mufti Day, the first of the year, themed “Misfit Mayhem!” Students and staff dressed up in the whackiest possible combinations of clothing - there were lopsided ponytails, inside-out shorts, unmatched shoes and silly socks!
Sausages sizzled, cupcakes dazzled and students and staff enjoyed a day of fun for important causes; Child Welfare Scheme Nepal (Waratah) and One Sky for All Children (Wattle). Thank you to the House Captains, Patrons and all staff who orchestrated the event, parents who gave so generously of their time and resources for the bake sale and to the students for embracing the first house fundraising day of 2023.
