Is Facebook Page Customization All ? Or Do You Need Something More?
Issue Date
by Abhilash Rout
Popularizing your brand on social media is not only about updating your status, announcing the launch of new products/services and stirring up conversations. There is more to it than that, or so it seems from some of the highly popular brands’ social media marketing campaigns. Take the example of Disney, or Microsoft on Facebook. They don’t just talk about their products. They share life experiences, pleasure, and joy and offer something advantageous for their fans. Unless you can do that, only Facebook page customization will not be of much help. Listed are some great tips that would help you understand and
make changes to your social media marketing campaign: Be more social. The key to win the hearts of your fans is to be more social. Interact more with them. Listen to what they have to say and offer solutions to their life problems. Do not sound like an extra-cheerful salesperson. Sound like a real person. Sharing is the key. Share content that you think your fans will be happy to check out. Content can be in the form of videos, news reports, photos, animation, text and what not. The medium is not important but the message is. Invite fans to offer something beneficial. Make them interested
Investing Vs. Speculation An introduction to finance which explains the basics: who are investors, what to invest, and how is all this different from speculating.

in your brand by offering something that would be of value to them. Publish interesting wallpapers to download for free. Provide coupons or gift vouchers for early birds. Make them believe that they can enjoy your products/services without paying for it. Share something fun. Invite your fans to take part in your events. Publish the photos of those who won your contests. Offer your fans the chance to become a model for your brand.
Offer tips for a better lifestyle: Provide health tips, ideas for a romantic weekend getaway or for innovative gift giving. Share some great cooking tips and do not forget to pair them with beautiful pictures. Ask your fans’ opinions. Ask them to tell you what they think about some topic you discussed or some tips you provided. If you get negative opinions, do not hide or delete them. Just because you are the owner of a company, you cannot know everything that is out there to know. If they correct something you posted wrong, accept it and admit that you didn’t know about it. Modesty is always good to have.
2
Request your customers to follow you, so that you can assist them better. This way you can get more fans and potential customers. Interact with them regularly. Ask them to share their life experiences, fun experiences and post comments that do not offend them in any way.
You have to do more than just status updates and product launch announcements to retain the attention of your potential customers.
Finally, since it is all about being social, you can ask for your fans’ opinions about some modifications you are planning to make in your company logo or your Facebook fan page design. Have a poll on some new feature you are planning to add to one of your products. Do not just provide something they can enjoy themselves, provide something that they can enjoy with their families and friends.

What is the E-F-A-B APPROACH? by
Aishwarye Pandey
The formula for success is E-FA-B. Marketers trained at business schools in the U.S. and England learn to sell by following the formula F-A-B or FeaturesAdvantages-Benefits. First the marketer explains the features of the product; that is, what it does. Next he spells out the technical advantages of the particular product, typically by showing competing products as lacking these advantages. Last he tells the customer how the product or service benefits him; for example, saves time or money, appeals to fear, or improves the life of the prospect. The problem with this formula is that it works only with products which the customer understands. It assumes a solid foundation of knowledge, experience, and needs. If I go to buy a big-screen TV, the salesman tells me what the TV’s features are; for example, remote control, stereo sound, and black-matrix picture tube. He then gives me the advantages of these features, contrasting them with another
5
model more or less expensive than the one I’m looking at. Good marketers watch for nonverbal clues about the price I’m willing to pay or ask, “How much do you want to spend?” Finally, he gives me the benefits. What happens, though, when the product and the service are not well known or understood by the prospect? In my experience, information products and services are hard to understand and difficult to explain. Even wellinformed information professionals are unable to keep at their fingertips the nuances of well-known, established information products. They are not able to have a wide and deep experience base for new electronic media, new or improved databases, and new print information products. The more advanced the technology, the more complex the marketing job. To market information product requires an additional and crucial step preceding F-A-D. The first step is E, Education. The information marketer must explain: - What the information is (a factual description)
- What the information can do (applications-based examples) - What the technology is (factual description and comparison and contrast with the information technology familiar to the prospect) - How the information and technology interact (allay fears and concerns about complexity, obsolescence, ease-of-use, and maintenance). Once this foundation is put in place, then F-A-B approach makes sense. It is one of company’s recurring nightmares that a marketer markets a new information product and does not follow E-FA-B.

you the following gaming cards to choose from. 1.Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 In late 2010 Nvidia introduced their GeForce 500 series, beginning with the GTX 580 and GTX 570. The former has taken over the top spot in the singleGPU speed contest, but it comes at a price that makes two lesser cards in an SLI or Crossfire configuration a more practical option. The GTX 570 is a dialed down version of the 580, but it readily outperforms the previous generation GTX 480. 1.25 GB of GDDR5 memory is standard on the 570 and it has two 6-pin power connectors. It's priced
competitively and it's a great card for high-end gaming. 2. AMD
Radeon

6970
Radeon's current flagship GPU is the HD 6970, which arrived shortly after their very successful 6800 series. These cards fall slightly behind the GTX 570 on most benchmarks, although the 6970's 2 GB of memory can give it an edge at very high resolutions like 2560x1600. HD 6970 cards tend be very large at about 11 inches long, and they need both 8-pin and 6-pin auxiliary power. They're in the same price range as the GTX 570 and they offer a similar value in terms of game performance. If you use more than two displays, most people find AMD’s Eyefinity easier than the alternatives.

processors and texture units than its more expensive sibling, but it still has 2 GB of memory and delivers impressive framerates. It's a little ahead of the HD 6870, but not quite as fast as a GTX 480. The HD 6950 biggest competition right now could be the older Radeon HD 5870s, which are selling at big discounts because they are on their way out. 4. Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti The first GTX 560 cards appeared in late January of 2011, just in time to do battle with the Radeon HD 6950. The 560 Ti represents a jump in performance of roughly 35 percent over the previous generation GeForce GTX 460 with only the slightest increase in power consumption, and it has launched at about the same price point. Unlike many of AMD's recent offerings, these cards have only 1 GB of memory, so they're not really aimed at those with 28" monitors, but they provide exceptional value for those in the market for a mid-range card.
5. AMD Radeon HD 6870 Launched in October 2010, the first cards in Radeon's HD 6000 series don't dramatically outperform the previous generation, but they do improve on power consumption and the chips are smaller, which makes them cheaper to
produce. The HD 6870 falls a little behind the HD 5870 on some game benchmarks, but it's currently priced at around $230, which is considerably less than a 1 GB HD 5870, making the 6870 an obvious choice. While I wouldn't recommend upgrading from a 5800 series card right now, if you're just making the move to DirectX 11, the HD 6870 offers solid value.
Cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Shannon, Dania Ramirez, Jamie Chung, Aasif Mandvi Director: David Koepp IMDB: 7/10 Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a bike messenger targeted by a crooked cop in director David Koepp's asphalt-action tale. An asphalt-action tale as unadorned as the fixed-gear cycle its hero rides, David Koepp's Premium Rush supplies just enough dramatic rationale to set a series of Manhattan bike chases in motion and then follows without pretending it cares much about anything beyond the adrenaline. A quick pace and always-enjoyable lead Joseph Gordon-Levitt will please moviegoers, even if the pic's ticking-clock approach isn't as invigoratingly pulpy here as in the Koepp-penned Snake Eyes and Panic Room.
