SkyCity Fall 2019 / Architectural Design III Skycity is a conceptual study following a tour of the city Chicago for an architectural theory class. Towards the end of the semester, a short design charette was organized in which we envisioned potential designs for a new Chicago landmark located on the infamous Chicago Spire site along DuSable Park. The design incorporates both public and private experiences including retail, commercial, and residential spaces while maintaining DuSable Park’s mission of being a public space.
