GRAPHIC IMAGES FROM THE ART MUSEUM
The large-scale graphic exposition presented in the Art Museum reflects the stages of development of this important field of fine arts. Samples of Georgian painting of the new and latest period are exhibited, covering the period from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. In terms of technique and genre range, the exhibited images are very diverse: watercolor, gouache, ink, pencil, print media (etching, lithography, etc.). Landscapes, portraits, abstract or narrative compositions clearly show the uniqueness and high artistic level of Georgian graphics.
We offer the readers of “Ajara Life” magazine some graphic samples of modern authors from the museum’s permanent exhibition.
