ARCHITECTURE THAT CO-EXIST WITH NATURE

“DESIGNING

SYMBIOTICALLY”

DESIGN FOCUS *Solar shading is used as source of passive cooling and co2 reduction realized by reducing the cooling energy demand. *Successful day lighting designs will play close attention as it uses external shading devices to reduce glare and excess contrast in the workspace. *External louvers will reduce cooling energy demand by avoiding superfluous solar heat gains, and doing it without compromising the benefits of daylighting. *Louvers are used for aesthetic purposes. They are used as natural air scoopers to have a better flow of air ventilation. *The simplicity of the floor plan makes the station very accessible especially to the students. In fact, the station is located in busy area, thus making their work very easy.

“TAKING ARCHITECTURE OUT OF THIS WORLD”

BLACKHOLE: The Ultimate Adventure Centre Clark, Pampanga Architectural Undergraduate thesis The Project aims to create a new model for adventure centres in the Philippines and around the world to promote and boost tourism in the Philippines, therefore increasing the business opportunities in the area. The project will cater the needs of extreme sports enthusiast as well as to encourage non- enthusiast and to contribute to the development and promotion of healthy lifestyle.

DESIGN CONCEPT ADVENTURE is an exciting or remarkable experience that involves danger and unknown risks. A BLACKHOLE is a region of space-time from which gravity prevents anything, including light from escaping. It is a mysterious object in space that nobody ever did try to observe what is inside of it. It is the perfect symbol of Adventure. The concept is, for the first time, to take the people inside the mysterious “BLACKHOLE. Because of the tremendous power of its gravitational pull, people will be brought outside the world where they will experience uniquely extreme adventure and upon reaching the black hole, an unimaginable exploit awaits them.

DESIGN FOCUS Nebula effect makes creative use of a unique material: CLOUDS, They carefully manipulate the humidity and temperature in buildings to create indoor clouds. It is inspired by Tetsuo Kondo Architects.

Deconstructivism is a development of postmodern architecture that began in the late 1950s. It is influenced by the theory of "Deconstruction", which is a form of semiotic analysis. It is characterized by fragmentation, an interest in manipulating a structure's surface, skin, non-rectilinear shapes which appear to distort and dislocate elements of architecture, such as structure and envelope. The finished visual appearance of buildings that exhibit deconstructivist "styles" is characterized by unpredictability and controlled chaos.

The aim of this project is to come up with a new design for the lobby of the Beato Angelico Building using Deconstructivsm. In this project, the said architectural style is combined with the art of minimalism to give the lobby a sense of elegance and formality. The project uses wood and glass as its main materials. These materials are used to create elements with different distorted shapes that will complement the theory of deconstruction.

LEONG RESIDENCE El Rosario Village, Mabiga, Mabalacat City Interior Design

I LOVE MILK TEA

Balibago, Pampanga Interior Design Interior Design plays a big role in getting customers for restaurants along with the good food and great service. With the trend in coffee shops around the country, I love milk tea Balibago also used Eclectic Style for its interior design. Eclectic style encompasses a variety of periods and styles and is brought together through the use of colour, texture, shape and finish. To make it more creative, recycled materials was used as decorative elements such as used pots, ropes, ice buckets and used woods. The combination of wood and neon colors definitely suits the taste of students being the target market of this milk tea shop.
