Pedestrians are forced to walk on the carriageway which is not safe. From the road inventory it is observed that about 50% of roads do not have foot paths on both sides. No proper signages and signal discipline. No Safety for student after existing the school/college premises.

Pune station is situated in very congested area. No parking zones is recommende d in the surrounding areas. No recreational area nearby.

• Proper traffic management can reduce the traffic congestions in that area. • Frequent fast and reliable high capacity rapid transit reduces dependency on personal motor vehicle

• Illegal squatters have sprung up on the footpaths. • No barricading at ongoing construction projects. • No Signal Discipline.

1. Redevelopment of pedestrian corridors with creation of view and vistas. High quality, unobstructed pedestrian footpaths provide basic mobility for all. Furniture, landscaping elements, and active building edges transform walkways into vibrant public spaces. 2. Introducing of Cycle Track. A dense network of walking and cycling routes results in short, varied and direct connections that improves access to goods, services and public transport. 3. Redeveloping the existing parking zones.
