CONCEPT

The concept is to design a rela vely cultural ac vi es, that recalls the simple seashell in its shape and at the same me promote the environmental and sustainable approach in modern Architecture and incorporate several passive features

SEA SHELL

Seashells are crucial components in coastal and marine ecosystems as they have mul ple func ons. Hermit crabs are not the only ones who benefit an abundance of shells; seashells provide home or a achment for algae, seagrass, sponges and many other microorganisms.

Seashells also p Seashells also provide relief from stress and offer a protec ve shield. Shells are also a symbol of good communica on, posi ve and healthy rela onships and prosperity.

The form is arrive from the sea shell. Because of the design is proposed in coastal zone, so I will select the sea shell as my concept which is denoded the seashore areas and it also create an new type of forms which is suitable for recrea onal purpose. CONCEPTUAL BLOCK MODEL (CULTURAL ACTIVITIES)

The main concept of this accommoda on was to built each and every villas facing to the ar ficial pond to relate with the climate aspect and to give natural surrounding to the accommoda on The Planning of the accommoda ons were linear type of planning in “C” Type pa ern to get the view of the pond.

CONSTRUCTION - COMPRESSED MUD BLOCK

a) Corners D Dry-packed interlocking masonry construc on should be started at the corners. One must start the first course with a shaved ½ block. It must be remembered to shave off the ridge and male face of the corner block, and further ensuring that the shaved ridge points upward and the shaved male face points outwards. The aim is to make the corner an integral part of the structure.

b) T – Junc ons For a T – Junc on of n courses, shaved ½ blocks and shaved full blocks are required to start the first course having shaved faces poin ng upwards.

c) Cross Junc ons For a cross junc on, that is an integral part of both the walls, only full blocks with ridges shaved off are required, ensuring that there are no straight joints.

d) Joints and Angles Each course will have to be connected at the corner with a brick force that should be always nailed in the center of the block and not near the edge.
