The Calvià Tourism Forum expects a long tourist season

e Calvià Tourism Forum has already met together with good prospects for the coming tourist season, along the same lines as last year when good data was achieved by October, thus extending the season with high levels of work and occupancy.

On the other hand, the Smart Calviàproject,fromRed.es,has already been awarded, and will provide important data that will help tourism management with measures such as intelligent pedestrian crossings, educational radars, sensorisation of van and lorry loading and unloading, capacity control and modernisation of screens in Tourist O ces, interactive screens throughout the municipality, or a tourist intelligence system to learn more about the tourist’s satisfaction that will be further complemented with surveys on beaches.

Regarding the European Fund proposals call, Calvià is one of the most active municipalities in the di erent calls that have been made, which has resulted in the grant of these subsidies.
