from 1st to 12th October Vicent Andrés Estellés exhibition Vicent Andrés Estellés, journalist and Valencian poet who is considered as one of the main Catalan contemporary poetry reformists, similar to other important poets from other times such as Ausiàs March and Joan Roís de Corella. Felix de Toledo paintings’ exhibition. “Love stories” Felix Toledo, who was born in Gandia, is an artist that expresses his pure essence brought to Pop Art in “Love Stories”. Beauty, colour, charm and brightness can be appreciated. Perfection, caring and cleanliness in all its lines can be also noticed. Love stories inspired in cinema’s frames. This is one of the most well-known markets in the region of Valencia. Every Friday, all year long, it offers a wide variety of the region’s best products and different complements to our residents, visitors, tourists and excursionists. Sant Frances de Assís, Patron of Oliva.Neighbourhood’s Festivity Enjoy one of the most dynamic and young neighbourhood in Oliva. This year you will find a wide variety of acts: traditional, cultural and touristic. The most important acts: Friday 3rd at 9:30pm, dance festival at Niño street. Sunday the 5th, at 7.30pm, procession acompanied by a traditional music grup. To end the festivities, fireworks at carpark conservatorio. Please check the attached PDF for more details.

2nd day of the Trolling Fishing Contest

Come to the Nautical Club around 1 pm to see the catch of fish like tunas, albacore tunas, mackerels, etc... with weights ranging from 1 to 15 kg. This is a method of fishing where one or more fishing lines are drawn through the water and may be behind a moving boat, like a kayak (very popular nowadays), a sea scooter, etc. to maximise the effectiveness. IV Trophy for the slowest boat

We recommend that you come along to the Yacht Club and attend the race (first prize Parchis de Oro.). This quirky regatta (which is a sporting event consiting of a series of boat races) will be rewarding a boat that does not normally compete in other regattas. 7th Oliva Gastronomic Exhibition from the 24th to the 26th Events

This year the exhibition seeks to give an insight into our agriculture and its main products: citrus fruits. You can enjoy some of the tastiest dishes that we offer, they include our land grown products and try the famous “agua de Valencia”, attend a cocktail demonstration. Place: “Parc de l’Estació” Saturday 18th, 1st stuffed pepper Amateur Contest at “Centre Polivalent” at 12:00 pm. Route to the Gamell cave in Denia.

You are welcome to join us on route from Cami de les Colonies (Colonial route) to Cava del Gamell (Gamell’s Cave). You can enjoy Denia’s incredible/spectacular views and observe Montgo and learn about its history as well as discover the local flora and landscape.
