The most important events: From Sunday 31stAugust to Sunday 7th September -Novena in honor of Our Lady of Rebollet 20:15 h Sunday 31stAugust -Traditional pilgrimage to the Castle of Rebollet 08:00 h This Sunday begin the Rebollet fiestas with the popular pilgrimage to the castle where many people of the area participate. The starting point is in the Santa Maria square where every pilgrim chooses a cane from which they hang a pumpkin as was the historic custom. On arrival at the castle there is a Mass in the place where the patron saint was venerated for many years. Sunday 7th September -Festival Our Lady of Rebollet 23:00 h Spectacular end of the festival organized by the people of the festival of the Lady of Rebollet 2014, in front of Santa Maria Church. Dancing, humor and entertainment for all ages. Monday 8th (local bank holiday) -Aurora’s singing on the town streets 01:00 h -Holy mass to our Patron, Our Lady of Rebollet 19:00 h -Solemn procession of Our Lady of Rebollet 20:30 h Solemn procession and movement of our Lady of Rebollet, from Santa Maria Church to Rebollet’s Convent. At the end of the procession, big fireworks display which will conclude the festivities in honor of our Patron.Place: Plaza Joan Baptista (behind the Municipal Market).

from 1st to September 30th Moors and Christians photographic exhibition

All month long you can come around and visit the 7th Photographic competition of Moors and Christians holidays in Oliva 2014 exhibition. Place: Sala de Exposiciones de la Casa-Museo de Maians. C/Major, 10. Timetable:From Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00h to 13:30h. and from 16:00h to 19:00h. Sunday from 11:30h to 13:30h.

They are located at the “Terranova”, “Pau-Pi”, “Aigua Blanca”, “Rabdells”, “Aigua Morta” and “les Deveses” beaches. Our beach bars are always asked for all our residents, visitors and tourists. Year by year, the style and aesthetic variety are getting better. These bars offer a wide variety of nautical, environmental, sports, cultural, gastronomic and theme activities during all the summer, and they are suitable for all audiences. So, go to them and ask for the amazing activities, let yourself be astonished!

Raspall Game

In the past, “Raspall” was a sport played in the streets in lots of towns. And nowadays, in Oliva, this game is still practised and its number of players is increasing. Sunday 21st Oliva Triathlon 2014

08:00h This Sunday will take place the XXVI Triathlon Oliva NDS 2014. This triathlon is strategically designed for the athletes to contemplate the attractive areas offered by Oliva, by swimming through the “Pau-Pi” beach with a long itinerary in the beach, on foot until the natural “Aigua Blanca” beaches and by bike through the mountain landscapes until the “Coll de l’Eca”. This Sunday, the triathlon and the show will be mixed up in order to like and enjoy to everybody, either participants or spectators with a lot of time of emotion and fun! 1st Day of the Trolling Fishing Contest

07:00h Come to the Nautical Club around 1 pm to see the catch of fish like tunas, albacore tunas, mackerels, etc... with weights ranging from 1 to 15 kg. This is a method of fishing where one or more fishing lines are drawn through the water and may be behind a moving boat, like a kayak (very popular nowadays), a sea scooter, etc… to maximise the effectiveness.
