Introduction

Studio Resonate has focused on a number of elements over the course of the semester.

The project, which centres around a outdoor performance venue encompasses a festival program, an off-season/year round program and revitalisation project on an ex-industrial quarry site in Colac, Victoria.

Throughout the studio, the scope of the project has provided me with the opportunity to explore a vast conceptual framework which encompasses all aspects of the program, and unfolds across the massive site. The opportunity to be able to employ a concept not only to multiple buildings but also to the landscaping and rehabilitation of a site has been extremely rewarding, and allowed for an in depth exploration of all aspects of the program.
