This memory book showcases the work of the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Sigma Lambda Omega Chapter of the Fascinating Far Western Region. Since 1990, Sigma Lambda Omega has proudly served the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Simi Valleys through community outreach giving life to Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority’s credo " supreme in service to all mankind.”
Programs are the heart of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Under the leadership of our International President Soror Danette Anthony Reed, and Regional Director Soror Shelby Boagni, Sigma Lambda Omega chapter travels many roads to serve our communities through five program initiatives. Our main highway is our strength it is our sisterhood.

Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $2,000 for high school students enrolling in a 4-year college/university and to community college students transferring to a 4-year college/university. $250 to $500 for students enrolling in a 2-year college
