Gender as a complex spectrum is increasing in popularity as a concept in modern society today. Androgyny culminates both masculine and feminine characteristics. It serves as a means of expression for individuals and challenges the perception of gender by creating ambiguity. An androgynous appearance does not determine an individual’s gender identity. It has become furthermore prominent in mainstream media and thanks to icons such as David Bowie, Prince and Tilda Swinton, it is associated to sex appeal, creativity, allure and innovation.

Let us blur the lines of gender, among man and woman where each sect takes heavy influence from the other, fuelling the fire of ambiguity. Influential icons, products and fashion deeply influence the minds of the young generation into this vague grey area where anything is possible, irrespective of sex.
