Tell us about your unique style
I actually was pretty lucky my next door neighbor was an award winning photo journalist and I was curious about photography after a family member gifted a film camera to me when I was twelve Under her apprenticeship (conveniently located next door,) I learned all about photography the old school way and never looked back Being able to capture moments is something that everybody can do I loved the ability to share stories & emotions through those photographs I was hooked
What advice do you have for couples or anyone having a celebration when it comes to investing in photography for their wedding celebration?

After 15 years of photographing weddings and celebrations worldwide, what keeps you inspired?
1Your photos are the only tangible memory from your wedding day, that is so incredibly important
2 Investing in good quality photography with a photographer truly makes all the difference in the world
What are some of your do’s and don’t when it comes to photography.
When did you discover your passion for photography?
I think that one of the most important things to remember is that:
Don’t be afraid to incorporate color and texture into the things you wear when in a photoshoot The beauty of that is that your images will be more unique and they will also help them to “ pop ” Whether it is a great pocket square, or a textured fabric of a blazer, or maybe texture in the veil of a dress, I love when that’s included
Truly it has evolved over time, but really I love to take images that portray reality No crazy wild filters that wont look good in 20 years Just romantic, classic, timeless editorial I shoot using lots of architecture, texture, color, light & shadow, because it adds mood and feeling to the photos I create for my clients I love to shoot this way because the photos become a work of art that are gorgeous on a wall framed
I pull a lot of inspiration from the work I do in the bridal fashion industry, shooting for wedding dress designers both on the runway and for their collections I stay inspired by looking at magazines, blogs, and most of all, through travel I think through seeing different parts of the world, seeing different ways light shines in one part versus another, inspires my shoots

If you are a novice reach out to a chef or a caterer They have come a long way since your grandma's cocktail parties back in the 60s All professionals nowadays are happy to curate custom menus for clients using amazing local and seasonal ingredients By hiring a professional team, you will have time to relish in the company of your guests Who wants to be stuck in the kitchen all night at their own party anyway?

If you are having a potluck, remember it's not a free for all Don't be afraid to step up and let your guest list know that it is organized Write a basic outline of a menu such as how many meats, side dishes, salads, appetizers, and desserts you want Let people pick what category they want to contribute towards, that way you don't end up with five people bringing their “famous” potato salad!

Crescent Rolls
Imagine a pan of buttery croissants filled with melted brie and apple slices topped with a drizzle of honey. You only need four ingredients for this sweet yet savory recipe, and it takes about 20 minutes to prep and cook You’ll be able to serve this delicious appetizer at your next gathering to impress all your guests.
HOW TO MAKE
1 jar of organic honey
4 oz block of brie cheese
