SunDe has a humid subtropical climate. Winters are short, mild, and relatively dry, while summers are long, hot, and very wet.
As one of the most important traditional festival in China, Dragon Boat Festivals was originally a totem sacrifice feast held by the dragon totem worshipping tribes in ancient Baiyue area.Before the spring and autumn period, the land of Baiyue had the custom of worshiping the dragon god by means of dragon-boat race.In addition, ancient people believed that the fifth of May was the day when the sun was at its peak and also poisonous gases. Therefore, we should worship the dragon god and the water god to drive away evil spirits and protect peace.

Among them, there are colorful boats, small dragon boats, tiger boats, etc for the appreciation or instrumental performance.Some boats like racing boats, paddling dragon boats in the water as well as big dragon boats are designed with a length of 130 meters.

• THE SHEGONG TEMPLE The temple is an important place of worship before the dragon festival and the competition. As the temple is a more sacred place, I surrounded it with trees, making it a relatively independent space, and intentionally made the central symmetry to increase its sense of ritual.

Vegetation is decorated with native crops as agricultural landscapes.It is also a space for people to enjoy food near the river.In special days, people can hold the feast here,such as Dragonboat Feast and in weekends or holidays it is a good place for temporary mobile canteen.

This area is near the family division. So children's activity area and fitness equipment are established here. There is a temple here, one of the Dragon Boat Festival. The landscape plants in front of the temple are symmetrically arranged, more ritualistic, and relatively hidden, highlighting the comparative privacy of the sacred.
Due to the narrow green space provided by the original site of this section, I extended the road area to the river area. The wooden decks occupy the channel area can enhance the difficulty of the boat race, but for audiences, they can walk and fish here.
• THE DRAGON-BOAT BURIED LOCATION Hydrophile stair makes people walk towards to the water edge to dig out dragon-boat easier and provides a place for people to sit in daylight.The stair provides a place to look at the activity (digging out the dragon-boat) in the other side and dragonboat race in the Dragon Boat Festival. 5

There are three types of river plant in the west bank.Think about water management, I use soft filter bank as much as possible.

About garden plant, I think about it in three ways: vision, smell and taste.From all over the site, except trees with shade, I will choose them based on varieties of color and smell. Also I decorate vegetation with local crops as agricultural landscapes in apart of the site near the food court.It not only provides vegetables and fruit to restaurant but also for people enjoy and knows about them.

Expect to refresh the air and for people to watch, I hope vegetation can play a bigger role on the site.For example, it can play an educational role for children.Parents and teachers can let students know more about fruit and vegetables we always see on the dining table.And for restaurant, vegetation not only for people to watch but also as food material for eating.I was trying to explore more of its functions and enrich the plant landscape.

SITE ANALYSIS Guanggang new town located in the western part of the central city of Guangzhou which is planning part of White Goose Lake area.It also undertakes an important area for the development of Guangzhou and Foshan community building. White Goose Lake area: According to the detailed planning of the Baietan area, this circle has been positioned as the second Guangzhou CBD.
14000 years ago, Guangdong ancestors domesticated rice or became the source of world rice civilization.
In Qin and Han dynasties, exchange products with the Central Plains of south of China.

In 1920s, industrial rised in Guangzhou. The site area was the main industrial area at the beginning which as a result, the land here was greatly polluted.

• In 1996, Guanggang was listed in the Shanghai and became the first listed company of local steel enterprises in China.
• In 2013, production was stopped，and the "Guanggang new town" regulation was issued.
Guanggang is the representative of Guangzhou's industrial era, which is also a crucial era in human development. I hope to show the historical features of this land in this limited urban green space, namely from the agricultural period, industrial period to the current situation in southern China. At the same time, combined with trams which will run through the park in the form of sightseeing trains, bringing people the feeling of time travel and realizing the design of two dimensionality of time and space.

The original factory buildings in this area are the most intact. I conserve the original architectural style and add small landscape elements to enrich the site, providing citizens green spaces for potential behaviours.
In the information age, things are constantly changing rapidly. I am trying to give the site a possibility that will never be out of date. Temporary installations and buildings for easy to removal achieve this. Functionally, I want the area to beome a showcase for cutting-edge technology and art. It is also more morden than the other two regions.

TRAFFIC IN CAMPUS In the design of pedestrian traffic, I try to make people walkable in the park without being affected by vertical motorways.
• The space under the bridge can be installed with sprinklers to increase fun and facilitate cooling.

DESCRIPTION OF CONSTRUCTION
China is experiencing an aging population, and community care is again being refered seriously. Community center is a government organization serving the surrounding residents. During the day, the elderly and children can come to study and play. The management of the community center is maintained by social workers. Parents can put their children of a certain age here for activities, but parents also need service for the community on weekends or in their free time.
• Part of the bridge building space is relatively large, which can be set into cafes, or simple meals bar.
Building an elevated corridor in two areas can better connect the two areas(industry age on the left and information age on the right) while giving people different walking experience.
In order to make the water surface reflected the structure as completely as possible and combine the actual scale of the site.The water surface width is calculated by the principle of light reflection. On the other hand, the space on the bridge has also been purposely designed, including green belts, lights, and drainage.

• The tunnel space can be divided into two parts, one for pedestrians to walk, and the other can be made into an undulating skateboard field.

• In the future (community center combines with public green area.) Community center provides the elderly and children with a safe space for joint activities and communication. This is not a 24-hour nursing home, but a place to relieve the stress of caring for children and the elderly. And the spacious view and a beautiful environment are also very suitable for children and the elderly activities.
Safety Design Between Tram and Sidewalk
The tram passes through the landscape belt, and the scenery on both sides of the tram changes accordingly from natural landscape industrial relics, to contemporary art installations. By this means, tram travel gives people a chance to enjoy surrounding landscape with abundant visual satisfactions. At the same time, the fragrance of flower sea and the sound of wind blowing the bamboo forests could even enrich other sensory experience like smelling and hearing.

There is some spontaneous artistic behavior of the masses happened in recent years.
ANALYZE As the only higher art college in South China, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Art is the birthplace of Lingnan School of Painting. In 2004, the school built a new campus in Guangzhou University City, forming a "one school, two districts" school pattern. Teaching focus was transferred with the new campus far away from city center which results that the old campus has not been particularly influential. Therefore, I hoped to revive the older campus by rethinking the relationship between the surrounding environment and the school.
Field study programme like urban vision system construction, public service advertisements, urban publicity and temporary reconstruction projects were held in times. CBD axis

Shopping Districts To cope with the hot weather in Guangzhou, I want to install central air-conditioning here. For better control temperature, I split this space with container. The middle of building is used to display the cutting-edge pruducts.

The majority of art nodes are concentrated in the north of the city, while in south is absent, and the most important ones are close to the central axis of the city.
To revive the old campus, I rethink the relationship between the surrounding environment and the school.How to plan according to the regional particularity generated by GAFA? From which urban space should we just think of the potential of its transformation?

The number is large but the actual operation will be affected by the urban construction administration system.
• A city sidewalk by itself is nothing. it is an abstraction , it means something only in conjunction with the builings and other uses that border it,or border other sidewalks very near it. Jane Jacobs
In view of importance of sidewalk, I think it is very potential as the breakthrough point for the city planning.

The site is less than 100m away from the restaurants dense area in this street. (I interviewed 24 painting students in five nearby studios)

This is a space in front of the residential building, which is far away from the activity area in the center of the community. Therefore I hope to use this open space here to provide a nearby public activity place for the retired people.
• The main place we eat is in the restaurants on both sides of the road. Sometimes we also order take-out food from distant restaurants. • We usually pack and go back to the studio or residence because the restaurants facing the street are so small and there are few or no seats.

In the southwest area of the school, there are many art training institutions, and many art examinee live here all year round. Since most training institutions do not possess their own dining halls, students had to eat in small roadside restaurants. However, the restaurant space is restricted, and very close to the road, which makes the dining environment very poor.

INTRODUCTION
1.Make bamboo curved by heat-bending craft, which will be the framework for this structure.
ADDING POINTS
This design is a combination of modern space creation with traditional folk crafts and techniques. Competition requires to build up a semi-open space made by bamboo within a limited 3 x 3 x 3m area. Our team aims to construct the whole space from the structure to the standard configuration by using the main materials fully. Thus, we study the characteristics of various bamboo derivatives and its treatment methods and transfer the understanding into 1:1 construction work.

We used two concrete piles to hold the bamboo in place, and concrete plates to provide seating combining with the concrete piles. We added a layer of barbed wire to keep the cement slab from breaking.

To bend the bamboo to the curvature we needed, we customized a steel plate welded with steel reinforcement. The bamboo curvature is controlled by the position of the steel bar. At the same time, the bamboo was shaped with a firearm and cold water.

MODEL STRUCTURE In order to prevent the bamboo from cracking due to the small contact area between the steel bar and the bamboo, we added a steel ring plate in the bamboo to increase the stressed area and reduce the pressure. Steel ring plate (reduce pressure)

Bamboo Chip Treatment Bamboo slices need to be soaked in varnish and dried in the sun to achieve the purpose of anticorrosion.
