SURABAYA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SCHOOL FEES FOR 2012 - 2013.
APPLICATION FEE: Students applying to Surabaya International School pay an application fee of US$200 per application, to be paid at the time of submission of admission applications forms. This fee is non-transferable and nonrefundable. ENROLLMENT FEE: Beginning with Prep 2, each student who enrolls to SIS for the first time must pay a one- time-only enrollment fee of US$1,500. This fee must be paid within 14 days of the acceptance date to confirm acceptance of an offered place. If the student does not enter SIS, one half of the fee (US$750) will be refunded. Students who enrolled in Prep 1 at SIS for less than a full year and return for Prep 2, still need to pay the enrollment fee. If the student decides not to enter SIS, this fee cannot be transferred to another student. BUILDING FUND FEE (CAPITAL LEVY) : Each student enrolling in Kindergarten - Grade 12 must pay the Building Fund Fee (Capital Levy) US$ 2,200 per school year. “School year” should interpreted to mean “any portion of a school year”. TUITION FEES: The tuition fees for the 2012-2013 school year are : Elementary : Middle/High School : Prep 1 US $ 4,805. Grades 6-8 US $15,391. Prep 2 $ 4,805. Grades 9-12 $15,946. Kindergarten $12,940. Grades 1-5 $14,340. PAYMENT OF FEES : PREP 1 -GRADE 12: Tuition fees are payable by transfer in US dollars only. Payment can be made in two installments of 50%, due on the first day of school and 53% due on the first day of the second term. Late payments will be charged a 10,000 Rp. per day fine. The due dates for these payments are as follows: 1st Payment - 29 August 2012 2nd – 7 January 2013. LATE ENROLLMENT AND EARLY WITHDRAWAL : The chart below shows the tuition payment schedule.

("Enrollment" is defined as the date upon which the student’s application for admission is approved and a seat is reserved for attendance; "withdrawal" is the date upon which the student ceases to attend and where the name is officially removed from the enrollment list, after notification in writing by the parent or guardian). The payment schedule on page one is only for Tuition Fees. Payment of Registration Fee and BFC must be made in full at the beginning of school year or enrollment to SIS.
COLLECTION OF SCHOOL FEES The following shall apply as to the collection of the fees : All fees are due as per FEES PAYMENT SCHEDULE on reverse of this page. Payments must be made within 15 additional calendar days from the respective due dates. If payment is not received within this extended period, the Superintendent will, within three additional days, write a letter giving the parent and/or company one week to respond and clarify the situation. If the fees are not received within 30 days of the first due date, the Superintendent will inform the parent(s) that their child may no longer be able to attend SIS until all fees are paid, and remove the defaulting student immediately. Under no circumstances will the student be allowed to continue to attend the school if any part of the fees payable, as per mode of payment chosen by the child’s parent, remains unpaid for 30 days or more from the original due date. The Superintendent and the school administration must, at all times, strictly adhere to this policy. Any exception to this policy, if necessitated due to exceptional reasons, must be pre-approved by the Board.

You must come in person to the SIS accounting office and show evidence of payment. Such evidence must be shown not later than five days after the payment is made. SIS cannot accept cash payment.
