In the beginning, Farrarahim Atelier only consists of 4 workers in cooperation from Puan Farahiyah Rahim with Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan. They would take fashion design students from Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan as an intern at the atelier.


BUSINESS Farrarahim atelier design garments mainly for women, with a custom purchase. Farrarahim atelier design garments and clothes for celebrations, festivals and wedding. Also, provide rental service which is rare in Johor for customers from the event company(bridals) and also for customers online

The brand name mirza is derivated from the name Akmal Mirza, where I see that my name

'Mirza" was barely used throughout my life. I wanted to treasure the name hence, the reason mirza was made as to the brand name. The idea behind the alien-like on the I is to show

" I am different ". Society was made to show what is normal and what is not, to be

different in a crowd means to be an alien amongst human. I wanted to promote the idea of normalize being different. Society's social pressure has blocked so much creativity in each individual to express themselves, hence i the reason I wanted them to aware that being different from others is okay and are totally normal.

Here we have been assign to properly developed our design with a complete guide by

our lecturer. For the first step, we were asked to use the cut and paste technique to find the silhouette of our design using our subject matter to ensure that the design is related to our subject matter. After that, we were asked to slowly develop our design to create more variant from the design. When the designs are chosen, each design should be made to look wearable and marketable. Last but not least when 3 final designs are chosen, a technical drawing should be made and make sure to illustrate a proper figure to go alongside the technical drawing.
