The Akola Clutch has a straw interior woven by one of our women’s groups in Northern Uganda. The experior is woven on a loom at The Akola Studios in Jinja.

The Antique pieces all have crosses 40 100 years old and are bought at a special market in Ethiopia. All of Akola’s other metal crosses (left) are made from molds passed down through generations and produced daily across Ethiopia. Ethiopian artists handcasting the Coptic Crosses we use on the Collar, Drape and Coptic necklaces.

This unique collection consists of all antique pendants from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. the falltone clay beads used on the necklace are each hand crafted and painted by Ugandan artists. Sefoam, natural, tangerine or black beads available.
