DESIGN CONCEPT EVOLUTION
Built-up area With this pandemic-era we are living in, people were observed as going stir-crazy sitting inside their houses. Keeping that in mind, each apartment is provided with their own terrace so the users get a sense of being outside in the open.
SITE ATTRIBUTES - The site is located in Viman Nagar, Pune. - The Plot Area is 141147.75 sq.m. - It is surrounded by residential buildings, Symbiosis International School and open land. - Pune International Airport is located just 1.7 kms away from the site. - The current use of the site is ‘vacant’.

Triangular roof houses with alternate green spaces. Height will be increased with this type of structure which is not feasible.
Rectangular blocks accessed through individual green terraces. 3m height gives the terrace a closed room feeling.

- A natural ravine on the west side of the site is used as a rainwater storage area.

- The area along the ravine and on its western side is treated as a green zone and hence no heavily constructed structure is placed there.

SELF BEDROOM INTERIOR Project was completed during 2020 lockdown 1. Inside-outside wall made of jute rope, paint and lights. 2. A cozy corner with framed plants, carboard-box table and seating. 3. Summer wardrobe (built-in) with hand painted flower motifs. 4. Wall frame made entirely out of waste paper. Total cost of the project : Under 1000/Total Duration : 1.5 months
