ADVANTAGES TO THE NATION
• Reduction in CARBON levels. • Savings of precious Foreign Exchange. • Prevents imbalances in the economy due to frequent rise in the oil prices. • Solves unemployment problem due to indigenous production of oil in the local area.

• Water scarcity due to absence of Green cover. • Bio fuel plants increase bio mass. • Bio mass would increase moisture content in the soil. • Dry weather – depletion of water levels – water quality affected areas could be reduced.

Planted 2200000 (lakh) seedlings in the District in a single year Some of the farmers have taken up cultivation of bio fuel plants in lands having irrigation facilities.

Mining Companies planted 250000 plants in farmers and common lands under SHAKTIGRAM project. Wind mill companies planted 5000 saplings on the roads of hillocks
