Regarding Coconut Commodity Based Association, purchase of tender coconut from members at the rate of Rs. 15 per tender coconut and selling to customers directly at the rate of Rs. 18 helped farmers to get Rs. 3 extra on each tender coconut as compared to earlier selling. Similarly, the customer also got the tender coconut at the Rs. 18 per tender coconut instead of Rs. 20 per tender coconut by saving Rs. 2. Further, coconut also purchased from the farmers at the rate of Rs. 13 per coconut and selling to customer at the rate of Rs. 15 which is win-win situation for both producer and consumer.
