The influence of architecture on people is of great importance, especially in the field
of psychiatry. A mentally challenged individual perceives a space differently than
others and if a space can alter our perception, mood, and our sense of well-being, then
what are the ideal parameters for a patient suffering from a mental disorder?
This project aims to redefine the mental health facilities pattern and to investigate how
the healing process that patients need can be facilitated through architecture.
