HELLO, I’m a meticulous and organized person highly focused on architecture. I believe architecture is a lifestyle that evokes me to capture every nook and corner of spaces. I’m an architectural photographer, and that has helped me connect with numerous architects which led to encounters on the practical and professional side of architecture which inspired me to take external projects My expertise also relies on illustrations, posters, and renders which makes me suitable to work under pressure

NIRVANA - House of courtyards An intimate area in urban landscape in a compact site. This project is ver y personal and ultimately client specific. The constant motion of town scape is in fine contrast with the introverted residence evoking the feeling of finally home! Clients being from corporate sector requested for a space solely their own detached from the work space. Multiple courtyards. a tiny water element and open planning brings the comfort we wish to be achieved while solving the area constraints without compromising the requirements.

Form development

Maximum buildable area is taken by offsets from boundaries.

Two storey mass is taken from the ground

An inclined cutting is given to illuminate interiors

Courtyards are added on three sIdes and compound wall is raised to achieve privacy

KARYALAYAM - Administration Building For MSP Designing a headquarters to Malabar Special Police was our minor project of our settlement study that focus on it ’s histor y, architectural characters, and context. This is a office building with spaces for officers of different hierarchy. The location being highly hot and humid I have introduced multiple pocket courtyards enclosed by Jali and green buffer on it. Comfort and productivity in workspace is focused while maintaining the historic relevance of the building.

Plot area : 1.3 acres No. of floors : 4

Sun path Passes in east to west direction with a short inclination towards south. This site gets adequate solar heat to generate solar power. It was used in the design to make the design more eco friendly. Also daylight is sufficiently used to illuminate the interiors.

Wind flows from WSW to ENE. From the wind rose diagram it is also clear that max wind speed in the site is below 18km/hr. Still the site gets good ventilation. The negative point is , hot-dust air is continuously blowing from the parade ground. Buffers are used in design to

As the site is situated in a tropical region ,it gets adequate rain in monsoon season ( about 2952mm).Rainwater harvesting methods are introduced in the design to store water. The stored rain water can be shared to the whole camp facility. 15

UNTAM ED “ALL GOOD THINGS IN NATURE ARE FREE AND WILD ” THE WIND, SUNLIGHT AND GREENERY ARE ABUNDANT IN NATURE FREELY FLOWING AROUND. THE CONCEPT IS TO LET ALL THE NATURAL SPIRITS TO WALK THROUGH THE SPACES UNTAMED, UNCONFINED CREATING A HARMONY BETWEEN BUILT SPACE AND EXISTING NATURE.

Concept diagram

Indoor courtyard in the building act as internal nature and also acts a atrium to provide stack efect. It is the lungs of the building Parallel jallis helps in the free flow of wind in all spaces. it helps in the spaces more ventilatted. Also it enables more daylight saving.

GRID HOUSE -

Residence for a family of four

This work is a practical design project that aims to discover a Political family ’s dream house. The site belonging to the family has been analyzed and several different architectural programs have been studied considering the family ’s wishes. Finally, a joint final program was agreed and detailed plans and sections were drawn. Finally, with realistic visualizations, the house that the family dreamed of in Trivandrum was tried to be depicted. This project is under construction This residence project is built on a rectangular plot of 42 cents. The family requirement was four spacious bedrooms with dining, living and kitchen. Each user need was studied and later improvised considerably. Client being an active political member, an office space to accommodate meetings as well as discussions concealed from the personal chambers to ensure needed privacy was designed. Formal living was segregated from family living space for the same reason, a green courtyard space with seating is meant for the adults while den space was characterized for the children in the family. Each spaces were arranged in a grid format ensuring zero negative spaces.

HERMIT - HOUSE ON CONTOURS Studio allows to design a residence for a fictional artistic client. The idea is to develop a character, a stor yboard about them. Research, ideation and development happened simultaneously while encounter to the practical side is encouraged in our studio. The 63 cent plot with descending slope located at Manjeri has the greater advantage of abundant views and tranquility. Designing a home that not only complements the character of site without compromising its topography was the real challenge.

AR T ARENA 2021

ART ARENA Art and culture of our land is often left forgotten and unappreciated while we turn a blind eye to amazing artists as well. A convention center with exhibition areas accommodation and eating was our design project in remote area of Nilambur. The challenge was to place spaces without disturbing contours to the minimum. Public relationship of art enthusiasts and proper inter spatial circulation while promoting the community is the key.

11°16’02.7”N 76°13’12.9”E Site area : 4.7 acres

Site is located in Nilambur, malappuram. It. It. It is surrounded by public and semi public spaces. The site is contoured ascending upward as we move away from the road. Laterite soil is the soil type. Landslide threats is addressed and drainage is flow is considered during design. Minimum cut and fill is done to make it ideal design approach. The acoustics of auditorium, access to reach buildings, ramps are also considered to build a barrier free design. 37

RESTAURANT AND RESIDENTIAL SPACE IN THE ART COMPLEX This project is all about art, and anything build for it must be part of it, the design approach of restaurant revolves around the idea - ‘Cooking as a culinar y art ’ . Unlike conventional restaurant designs of our context where the process of cooking and the master behind id concealed from the users, I intented on encouraging appreciation to the master chef who carefully crafts his art. By placing the open kitchen beside seating space, customers can engage and enjoy cooking while savoring their favorite meals emphasizing a healthy relationship between creators and users.
