form development

The Triangular site extruded as it is.

The middle portion of the land is utilized for social and cultural events.

The rest of land is utilized to create a housing over looking the central piece of land. Like a courtyard.

Positive and negative spaces are demarcated and deleted or added to the housing.

other academic work. Interior Design Working Drawings

interior design. concept. Victorian interior design is a product of the Industrial Revolution, where machinery made it possible for the middle class to own highly ornate pieces. ... These items included architectural features that are common in Victorian decorating, such as tin ceiling panels, wall sconces and tapestries. Victorian interiors feature beautiful colors, lots of ornate details, and skilled fakery to make the home a welcoming and beautiful place. The industrial revolution led to a revolution in interior decorating, and for the Victorians, high style was all about the appearance of luxury, whether real or imitation.

competitive works. 62nd Annual NASA Design Competition - Shortlisted 63rd Annual NASA Design Competition - Shortlisted HUDCO Trophy by NASA India G-SEN Trophy by NASA India Sacred Spaces by ArchDais House 2.0 by ArchDais The Dharavi Project by ArchDais

the house 2.0. The competition invited participants to design an ideal house - one that is a constant space of solace and shelter for the body , as well as the mind. The competition seeks the house that respects the tangible practices of everyday life ,and reflects upon the tangible idea of living itself .The site is located in Tung, a town in the district of Pune in Western India, close to the Pawna lake. This highly contoured area has a temperate climate with hot summers and mild winters. During the pandemic times the line between indoor and outdoor is sharp, this house balances the indoor and outdoor spaces. Multipurpose private and semi-private decks allow the user a sense of freedom in a controlled environment.

the dharavi project. The aim of this competition was to develop a place making project that will act as a center for change and community empowerment, in the heart of Dharavi , that will wholly and truly be owned by the people there is. The people of Dharavi need a space that allows them to express their ideas , participate in their own growth and learn from each other. The design philosophy revolves around the efficiency, resourcefulness and flexible use of resources and spaces that Dharavi is known for. The project aims at rejuvenating Dharavi and creating a new imagibility of Dharavi in contemporary world. The contemporary approach caters to users of all age groups and socio-economic backgrounds paving a way to bridge the gap between the people of Dharavi and rest of Mumbai. The old ship containers forms the multi-functional built spaces which are designed with flexible
