Sheer Joy - a collection of the threaded condition of hosiery -

The challenges of working with pantyhose are turned into beneficial aspects. Lack of control, simple structure, the idea of perfection and the feeling of worthlessness. Caring, devotion, perseverance and frustration are the elements that are being played with, the characteristics.
SHEER JOY
A N I N T R O DUCTION
Sheer Joy is a portrait of the panty, a layered world full of ideals, transparency and annoyances. This looked down upon textile has a charm. A thin and fragile one but therefore not less interesting. To show diversity and stratification, the hosiery is being used in different ways, which in some cases, emphasizes the graphical aspects and in others show depth. A broad product collection where one inspiration is carried out and where a new one is evoked at the same time. The products are made from recycled items. All of the hosiery and almost all of added materials are second-hand. This brings more risk of imperfections but thanks to the reuse of materials, an emotional layer can be added to a product as well. The designs change during the sewing or knitting process, control is lost and but then quickly regained. Once a (maybe involuntary) choice is made, there is no going back. This ensures that there is room for spontaneity and a must: adaptability. Sheer joy gives used and worthless hosiery the option to become something more, to be looked up to instead of looked down on.
