The Arab Electric App. It will charge $3.95 for a card, $1.95 for an e-check, or you have the option to do a repetitive ACH e-check without a fee.

When can I expect to have my electric meter rechecked?

When your usage is above or below what it normally runs for that month in past years or your AMI meter usage does not follow the pattern of usage for the current temperatures.

When are reminder calls sent out to the phone number I have listed on my electric account?

Reminder calls are sent 4 days after the bill is past due & the morning of disconnect. It is of the utmost importance to keep the phone number on your electric account current. If you change phone numbers call us at once to update your information.

How long do I have to pay my bill after the due date & when is power disconnected? 10 days & power is disconnected at 1:00 PM the 11th day.

Do I have an option to extend my payment beyond the specified time above?

You may call 256-586-3196 to obtain a 7-day bill extension beyond the initial 10 days. This will add $20.00 to your bill amount.
