the Connecting Community

Event brings people together with fellowship, food and fun

Coosa Valley Technologies was thrilled to see so many families join us for a day of fun at our Connect the Community event in Lincoln.

Members of the community converged at Lincoln’s Landing on March 24 to sample cuisine from local food truck vendors Kin Express, RNB Finz and Chicks, Cricket’s Sweets and Treats, and Royal Slush. Children had a blast on the inflatable playground provided by Bounce-N-Fun of Gadsden. Many attendees won prizes in our giveaway drawings, and all the kids went home with goody bags and a fresh hand-painted design on their faces if they so desired.

“This was our first Connect the Community event conducted away from CVT’s headquarters, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the facilities and staff at Lincoln’s Landing,” says Jeremy Wise, Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative’s manager of marketing and member services. “Their work helped us have a smooth event. We now look forward to having more Connect events throughout our service territory.”

Coosa Valley Technologies’ goal in hosting this event is to connect the community with high-speed internet, and provide a little fellowship, food and fun. The CVT and Coosa Valley Propane staff thank everyone who stopped by for a visit.

As always, members can inquire or register for service at CVT’s headquarters on Alabama Highway 77, just north of Talladega. Customers can also register by calling 877-618-9916 or 256-649-4669 or online at coosavalleytech.com. n
