NOTICE OF NOmINATION FOR ELECTION OF TRUSTEE ARAb ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC.

Pursuant to Article III, Section 3, “Nomination of Trustees” of the bylaws of Arab Electric Cooperative, Inc., as revised, notice is hereby given of the election of three (3) trustees at the annual meeting of the membership to be held on August 26, 2023. The districts for which these trustees are to be elected are as follows:

DISTRICT NUmbER GENERAL LOCATION

Two (2)

The following communities are located in this District: City of Arab: Hwy 69 (East side of town) to around Gober Funeral Home also toward Arab City Park down Fry Gap area. Route 6, 7, 39, 40, 42

Five (5)

The following communities are located in this District: Fry Gap / New Canaan Area: Hwy 231 South, then to the east includes Fry Gap, Brashiers Chapel, Shoal Creek Rd areas toward Scant City

Route 36, 37, 38, 44, 46, 48, 50

Seven (7)

The following communities are located in this District: Ruth / Eddy Area: Hwy 231 N from 12th Ave NW to Pine Lake, Ruth, Eddy, Pleasant Valley Rd, Oleander areas

Route 22, 24, 26, 70, 72, 74, 76

If you are a member of Arab Electric Cooperative, Inc. residing in the above geographic area as set forth by the bylaws and want to be considered as a candidate for election of trustee at the annual meeting to be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, you are hereby notified to obtain a written petition containing the signatures of 15 or more cooperative members nominating you to be a candidate for trustee. Printed petitions shall be provided by the manager of the cooperative upon request.

All petitions must be presented to the cooperative manager not less than 60 days prior to the annual meeting or by Wednesday, June 28, 2023, for posting in the headquarters building.
