Who wants to be a lineworker?

Graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing careers as lineworkers are eligible to apply for Pioneer Electric’s Lineworker Scholarship. Two students will receive $5,000 scholarships to attend an accredited 15-week lineworker training program.

HOW TO APPLY: Applicants must attend an accredited high school in Butler, Dallas, Lowndes or Wilcox counties. Applications are available at pioneerelectric.com/collegescholarships.

DEADLINE: Feb. 17

Attention graduating high school seniors:

Pioneer Electric is awarding seven $1,000 scholarships for graduating high school seniors planning to continue their education at a four-year university, junior college or a technical or vocational school.

HOW TO APPLY: To be eligible, a student must be a graduating high school senior and a dependent of a Pioneer Electric Cooperative member. Applications are available online at pioneerelectric.com/college-scholarships and at Pioneer Electric offices. For more information, call 1-800-239-3092.
