Beatrice Cane Syrup Makin’ Day, Rikard’s Mill Historical Park, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The mill is transformed into a pioneer village as history is brought to life by rural heritage demonstrators. Monroeville Veteran storyteller Dolores Hydock will present “A Sweet Strangeness Thrills My Heart: The Journals of Sallie Independence Foster, 1861-1887,” a onewoman stage play at the historic Old Courthouse Museum. Millbrook Spirit of Christmas. Tree lighting ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 on the Village Green, with caroling, refreshments for sale, Christmas lights and music. Parade begins at 2 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Mill Creek Sports Complex and ends at the old City Hall. Refreshment, arts and crafts and other vendors will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Village Green.
