A-ROSA hits the road with first ‘Run the River’ voyage

A-ROSA RIVER Cruises has partnered with tourism social enterprise Charitable Travel to launch a new running cruise holiday in October 2023, setting the challenge of running 10km a day, over five days, through some of the Danube River’s most spectacular landscapes and cities.

This ‘Run The River’ charity cruise takes place under the guidance of Rory Coleman, one of the UK’s leading lifestyle and marathon coaches. Runners will run a total of 50km along specially created running routes that will showcase the highlights of cities such as Vienna, Bratislava and Linz.

Every holiday booked with Charitable Travel includes a 5% donation to each customers chosen charity.

After the 10km daily run, guests can head back to river cruise ship A-ROSA DONNA to relax and prepare for the next day’s run.

Prices for this cruise, which departs on October 25, lead in at £1,099 per person and includes one-night’s pre-cruise accommodation, five nights’ on board AROSA DONNA on a premium all-inclusive basis plus the full ‘Run The River’ programme with Rory Coleman. www.charitable.travel/run-the-river
