Cane-line Rope

Cane-line Rope is a combination of a woven Selected PP covering (a thermoplastic fibre) a core of Cane-line Weave®. The material is elastic and has a soft surface that acts like a fabric. Avoid pulling/pushing the elastic material too hard as this may cause it to lose its shape on the furniture. It is easy to maintain and can be cleaned with ordinary household cleaners.

Cane-line Natté

Cane-line Natté is a unique material produced by Sunbrella for Cane-line. Cane-line Natté combines the strength of normal all weather fabrics with the comfortable softness of the traditional Sunbrella fabrics, resulting in a soft yet durable fabric. For stubborn stains or built-up dirt, carefully wash with a recommended stain remover, such as Vanish. It is a good idea to remove the core from the cover and wash and dry them separately. Make sure to clean both sides of the outer cover. Please note, that the cushion cover is machine washable at 30 °C.

Cane-line Teak

Cane-line teak is approved and forested under the SVLK – Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (Indoneasia’s timber legality assurance system) certification system. Teak is a hardwood that is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use due to its high oil content. Our teak furniture is delivered untreated or painted. If the furniture remains untreated, the teakwood will acquire a warm patina over time and turn pale grey colour. If you wish to retain the original golden colour, we recommend treating teak furniture with a recommended teak sealant. Please note that teakwood is a natural product and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks can develop due to drying and that slats can warp slightly.

Powder coated aluminium

All our aluminium furniture is powder coated. Powder coating serves as a protective layer that is tinted in a variety of colours. Aluminium furniture generally requires a minimum of maintenance. Vases, glass and similar items can lead to marks on the surface, if there is moisture under the item for more days. Make sure to keep the surface clean and dry, if things / items are put on the table for several days.

Selected PP

100% polypropylene (PP) and UV-resistant. In case of food or drink stains, wash the spot immediately with warm soapy water and allow the pillow to dry in an upright position.

For more thorough cleaning, all pillow covers can be removed and machine-washed at 30 °C. Make sure the cover is completely dry before putting it back on the pillow. All throws are machine washable at 30 °C. For stubborn stains or built-up soil, carefully wash with a recommended stain remover, such as Vanish.

Glass

All glass tops are made of thoughened glass. The glass has been through a process, where it has been heated to approx. 650 degrees and then cooled. This curing of the glass makes it up to 5 times stronger than ordinary glass and less prone to cracking and breaking. The table tops require only a minimum of maintenance. Wipe it down after use with a moist microfibre cloth and mild detergent. Placing objects on the table top, such as a potted plant, can cause scratches or lime deposits. Lime deposits can be removed with a mild vinegar solution. Moving things with rough edges across the table can cause scratches that cannot be removed.

Rattan

Rattan is the rascal of the jungle. Rattan belongs to the palm family. Rattan is a climbing plant, that grows over trees and other plants in the rainforest. There are about 600 species of rattan. Cane-line uses only the best and strongest for furniture production. Cane-line ensures sustainability in relation to the environment and human relationship in a society, which has its roots deeply embedded in rattan. Rattan is only for indoor use. For cleaning and daily maintenance, use a wrung cloth. Once to twice yearly clean with white soap flakes and lukewarm water wiping off extra fluid with a dry cloth.

Swipe

Swipe is an indoor fabric with a mix of 60% cotton, 10% viscose, 10% acrylic, 10% wool, 5% nylon and 5% polyester. In case of food or drink stains, wash the spot carefully and immediately with warm soapy water and allow the cushion to dry. In case of stubborn stains, the fabric cover can be removed from the cushion and dry cleaned. We would also recommend using an acknowledged cleaning detergent, such as Vanish.

Leather

Cane-line leather is a slightly corrected semi-aniline leather with a soft grip, as well as a beautiful natural scar that gives character. The leather is chrome tanned and made without the use of PCP and CFC. All Cane-line leather is stained and for indoor use only. The colours and scarves shown on the leather are for guidance only. There may be colour or scarring differences from the displayed image to the actual skin from which the cushions are made. It is important to care for and clean leather cushions regularly, so that the leather can remain soft and maintain a comfortable sitting comfort. This also prevent the leather from fading or drying. We recommend using a leather care product.

Linoleum

Linoleum is a natural material and consists of linseed oil, cold pressed, to which dyes and various types of fillings are added. It can be resin, lime and cork, stone or wood floor. The material is scratchproof and only for indoor use. Linoleum is a soft material that is easy to clean with a twisted cloth, and immediately wipe again with a dry cloth. Do not use dishwashing detergent, brown soap, or other ammonia-containing products. In case of stubborn stains, we recommend washing with water and soap chips, which will also leave the table with a surface that is more difficult to absorb abrasion. We recommend using coasters when applying hot pots and bowls on the material.

Rattan Peel

Peeled bark from rattan. Sustainable material, dyed using a special technique to emphasize its natural look. Very lightweight and durable. For cleaning and daily maintenance use a wrung cloth. A solution of white soap flakes and lukewarm water should be applied once to twice yearly to maintain the natural flexibility.
