ASU DESIGN SCHOOL:
THE BRIDGE a place to play ALANAROSE DURAN // WATSON STUDIO
PLAY /plā/
verb
to take part of an activity purely for fun or for leisure
A Place to Play All design students work hard daily to get their desired outcome for each project they are assigned. There are times where students need a break from staring at their projects for long hours and need some time to PLAY. As you walk through the Design Buildings located in Arizona State University in Tempe, you see many students working on their projects and working diligently. Though, sometimes working on one project all day and night can be tiring. Within the Design Buildings in ASU, there is no place for the students to play and have some leisure time away from studio work. D e s i g n N o r t h

Information Papago Park is located in Arizona and it consists of many buttes, which includes the well-known Hole in the Rock. Hole in the Rock was naturally created by landslides and movement from the fault lines that occured many years ago. It is a breccia sedimentary type of rock, which are larger pieces of rock that are cemented together due to past landslides. Erosion from wind and water flattened the surrounding area and small dents in landform became larger
