Sculpt® drop-in ceiling tiles are designed to be compatible with 15mm, 24mm, & custom Exposed Tee suspended ceiling grid systems, with nominal 24” x 24”, 48” x 24”, and custom grid dimensions.
• Acoustic Mesh
Sculpt® can be installed without the acoustic mesh to partially expose ceiling voids, with a subtle view of architectural features such as services and pendant lighting.
• Achieves the highest ASTM E84 Class A fire rating

Sculpt® is low-VOC, produced from Cradle to Cradle Bronze certified, and Oeko-Tex certified SC panels. Sculpt® is Declare CDHP, Prop 65, ISO 14001 EMS, and California 01350 compliant. The individual profiles are similar to architectural battlements that are found in the shielding walls and towers of medieval castles. 1. The ecoustic Sculpt® Classic (either the 24 or 48 tile) is used as a basis for custom designs.
2. Up to 3.75” can be removed from each of the 10 blade profiles in a Classic tile with minimum radius of .375”. This can be achieved via the use of a dedicated CAD mold form-subtracted from the exploded / ungrouped Classic tile profiles.
Please Note:
• The form to be subtracted must be created via mathematically defined CAD tools (for eg. lines, curves, radius and chamfer tools. Freehand tools (for eg. spline) cannot be converted to computer-aided manufacture within the Sculpt® system.
• The fabrication cost of each custom tile is influenced by the complexity and time duration of the profile cutting process. Consequently, simple forms, such as the Sculpt® Peak tile, are more cost effective to produce than complex forms such as the Sculpt® Icon tile.
• Following removal of the subtracted tile area the resulting topography of the 10 modified profiles defines the custom tile design.
Please reformat your custom designed tile into a new IFC file and submit your design with the following details:

Ecoustic®
Lens An acoustic baffle that improves sound-absorption (NRC 0.9-1.0) when installed along with the Sculpt® Classic Shallow drop-in ceiling tile system. Available in four designs, CHannel 1050 + 2300, Trio, or Quartet. All Lens profiles are produced with either square or radius corners to suit your spacial design.
Lighting
To suspend lighting or sprinklers through the Sculpt® System, the back scrim should be cut on top of the tiles. Once cut, services such as light fixtures, etc. can be secured to dedicated rails over the tile, which bridge between the suspended T-grid ceiling to hang either within the Sculpt® System, or below the system.
In regards to linear Sculpt® tiles (Classic, Steps, Peak, etc.), a portion of the profile will need to be removed from the tile to leave openings for down lights. This would mean that light fittings should be in the center of the tile, with profiles on either side of the opening held via the systems combs and hanging rails.
LED lighting is highly recommended for use with the Sculpt® System

IMPORTANT
Toxicity: Polyester is nontoxic and is classed the same as wood under the state of New York article 15 Part 1120. ecoustic Sculpt® Ceiling tile does not contain any Red list chemicals (USA EPA), free of PFCs, flame retardants, phthalates, and urea formaldehyde.
Moisture Absorption: Exposure to an atmosphere of 50% and 95% RH for four days provides moisture absorption of less than 0.2% per volume. As ecoustic Sculpt® is 100% polyester, it will not degrade over time due to moisture, mildew, or rot in office environments.
Fixtures: Any fixtures must be supported independent to the ecoustic Sculpt® Ceiling tile. ecoustic Sculpt® Ceiling tile can be cut on site to accommodate for new and existing lighting and fixtures.
HVAC: Ensure ecoustic Sculpt® Ceiling tile is compliant with the specified HVac system. ecoustic Sculpt® Ceiling tile is recommended for Ducted Return Air and is not Plenum Return Air rated.
Back Loading: ecoustic Sculpt® Ceiling tile is not suitable for back loading. Loads must be supported independently by the grid or through the use of additional fixtures.
Versatile Ceiling Design Feature: ecoustic Sculpt® tiles can be assembled in varying orientations to create a large-scale ceiling design feature. The tiles can be installed in an identical linear formation, mirrored to create larger shapes across multiple tiles or in a random orientation. Additionally, alternate 2’ x 2’ tiles can be rotated 90° to create a checkerboard pattern. Multiple colors can be featured to create added depth and interest.
Customizable: Architects and interior designers can also create their own custom designs for an interior scheme with the ecous tic Sculpt® system. Please refer to our ecoustic Sculpt® Custom Design Guide.
ecoustic Sculpt® consists of many profiles, each with different surface areas. Acoustic testing was performed on the smallest (Network) and largest (Icon) profiles, with and without ecoustic® Infill. This gives ecoustic Sculpt® a NRC range that covers all profiles.
It is the responsibility of site installation managers to confirm compatibility between the ceiling grid system specified and the dimensions of ecoustic® ceiling tiles prior to placement of purchase order. Custom sized ecoustic® ceiling tiles can be produced, however, conditions do apply. Please contact Unika Vaev customer service or your local sales representative for more information.
Drop Ceiling: ecoustic Sculpt® Ceiling tile is designed to be compatible with 9⁄16” (15mm) and 15⁄16” (24mm) exposed tee grid systems in slim and standard profiles. All grid types, including Tegular Slimline, must be specified with order.
