Because Human beings naturally simplify and categorize the excess of sensory input that they continuously experience. RAHA rest station allow the traveler to take a visual image starting from the welcoming entrance leading through a number of stairs to the Exhibition area and Fool + retail area which creates imageability and legibility of the whole rest area .

A river sometimes becomes a barrier for movement. It easily becomes an obstacle. Although potentially unfortunate for other reasons, an obstacle is a very legible and highly imageable thing. Also, the valley can make a path through the site. To create urban imageability and intimate feeling within the human scale buildings around RAHA rest area the serial vision of the users is taken into consideration. In order to establish a harmonious relationship between the rest area and the travelers a strongly structured image viewing the valley, starting from the secondary road looking directly to the valley, then to stepped seating in front of the valley in both sides of the site. After that, to the gas station and the entrance to the services are also exposed to the valley to create a continuous experience. Leading to the end of the site in the Hotel area.

Children Hospital Studio-8 Project

Concept & Philosophy The main focus was for the inpatient rooms since it is a cancer hospital and children stays long time for treatment. Colorful cubes was created to catch children’s eyes. As well as making an enjoyable place for kids. the cubes are inspired by Rubik’s cube, The cube and architecture both require guides which tackle problems step-by-step, and they both fascinate viewers.

Cultural Museum Studio-4 Project (Group Project)

Concept & Philosophy

The main concept was to build 1:1 museum that make the visitors experience historical and new Jeddah inside Effat Cultural Museum. The whole museum was done with our hands no machines were used only cutter! All sections around 100 students divided the area into different spaces, each space is expressing the growth of Jeddah city. Our space was the entrance of the museum, the main concept was to create cube steps within different sizes of buildings from small to large that express Jeddah growth and development, until reaching a platform that is one meter high, then down to steps to move to the second space of the museum.
