PET ADOPTION FOR MORE INFORMATION ON ADOPTING THESE PETS VISIT THE FOLLOWING QR CODES Slick and Sport are Chiweenie brothers looking for good homes. They are approximately 8 weeks old and love a good blanket cuddle. The puppies will be ready for adoption on Dec. 15. As much as we strongly encourage saving lives by adopting, a pet can be a 10 to 15 year commitment. If you’re brightening the holidays by acquiring a pet, make sure you’re ready to provide it with a loving home for the rest of its life.for the rest of its life.

SMOKE

BOOTS

Midnight, Boots, and Smoke have lost their only home at no fault to the humans or the animals. They are all a bit traumatized and will require some time to adjust to their new homes. Boots and Smoke are now happy in the shelter and come out for love and pets. Boots and Smoke are friendly, sweet kitties and Midnight will require a patient human who can help with her shyness. Midnight and Smoke are both 12-year-old females and Boots is a 12-year-old male.

SPORT

All three cats are in good health. They are good with other cats but their thoughts on dogs are unknown. Give a senior a chance to live out their glory days in the comfort of your home.

Senior Spotlight “Mr. Peanut Butter (Peanut) is a goofy yellow lab, born in Livingston, Montana. Early in life, he resided in Bozeman, where he learned to love snow, water, and everything outdoors. While in Montana, he was diagnosed with cancer but fought through and is now healthy again. Four years ago, Peanut made his way down to Gunnison and quickly found himself running at Hartman’s, skiing Snodgrass, belly flopping into the Blue Mesa, and making friends on the Van Tuyl loop. He can often be found carrying a stick that is over half his size! Peanut lives to eat and would do anything for the next scrap that falls on the floor. Last year, Peanut was diagnosed with a hereditary spinal issue, arthritis in his hip and knee joint, and two ACL tears. For the past 6 months he has been working hard to recover from surgeries and doing rehab. He is now happily working his way back up the stairs and enjoying the new ramps that have been built around the house. Just don’t disturb him while he’s sleeping- he might get grumpy! He is glad to be back at Hartman’s doing short hikes again and finding extra large sticks to carry.”

SUDOKU HERE’S HOW IT WORKS Sudoku puzzles are formatted as a 9x9 grid, broken down into nine 3x3 boxes. To solve a sudoku, the numbers 1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each number can appear only once in each row, column and box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers will appear by using the numeric clues already provided in the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets to solve the puzzle!
